Perfect. I had to schedule out a month, and John doesn’t use email, but he arrived early, worked quickly and cleanly, was very pleasant, and gave me information about what he saw and what I should do next. Couldn’t be more pleased.

wonderfully for us...it must have been a hassle for him (although he never seemed impatient) as he had to really push to get them made but he kept us updated all through the process

John comes to the door promptly on time. He checks out the stove box then lays a cloth tarp around the stove and general area. Then he goes up on the roof, checks to make sure the chimney cap is in good shape before brushing out the stove pipe. Once that's clean, he comes back inside to vacuum out the stove before brushing and cleaning the box. When the job is complete, he folds his tarp, gathers his tools and gives me the bill. The entire thing is usually done in less than an hour and my home is as clean as it was when he arrived.

Superior Chimney Sweeps did a great job of cleaning out my two chimneys. One for a fireplace and the other for a wood burning airtight stove.
They are very conscientious of their work and the mess it can make. Tarps were laid out and barriers setup to stop any dust from the firebox getting into the room.
They were timely, thorough and cleaned up their equipment and my home so all looked great.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a chimney cleaning.

Contacted Mr. Voigt on the phone and received a service date and estimate based on my description of the work I wanted done. As they were very busy they showed up on the agreed date about 10 days later and actually a little early. John and his assistant inspected the fireplaces and chimneys then proceeded to clean them. They partially disassembled the fireplace insert fire bricks and cleaned everything. After looking over the basement fireplace they determined it did not require service due to none use. They left absolutely no mess even bringing glass cleaner cream (the correct method) for cleaning the fireplace insert class but did not need it as I had already cleaned it prior to their arrival.
Anyway in the end they adjusted the price down because of the downstairs not needing service and offered to bring out some replacement bricks for the four cracked ones in the insert unit plus a rain cap for the one chimney flu that does not have one.
Good professional service and reasonable pricing while offering options for additional service without pressure.

Mike was extremely unprofessional. Poor communication. He never showed up for the first estimate because he FORGOT. He was late for every other appointment and oftentimes wouldn't even give me a specific time. I would have to call repeatedly to make sure he was actually going to show up. What was originally projected to be a one-day project ended up taking three weeks! To top it off, he charged me for an $85 part that he didn't give me (the stainless steel cap... another chimney guy discovered that he had used a $5 piece of flashing instead!) AND THEN REFUSED TO REFUND IT. To be more precise, he said he would refund it, repeatedly, and then just never did. Also charged $120 for a cleaning that left tons of soot in my chimney. (Maybe it was due to the fact that he was distracted by a football game while he was cleaning?) I have no idea how this guy is still in business. Video is on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEpMk_PBHv8 If the link doesn't work go to YouTube and search "Superior Sweep Seattle."

Excellent service. He arrived on time, performed the service and offered advice on several issues we had with our chimney. There was no mess or clean up afterwards. He was polite and friendly. Price was excellent also. I will use his services again.

We didn't actually have any interaction with them as we had a property management company taking care of our house at that time. Everything was fine as we didn't get any bad reports from the property manager.

Both of the men were punctional and professional and careful where they placed their equipment. I was informed of the job performed and the problem that arose and what they could do to fix it. They understood the fragileness of my tile roof and acted responsibly. I was told the cost to clean my chimney when making my appointment and they did not charge me for the repair. I was impressed by their professionalism and the cost. I will use them again and send them referrals.

Jon provided the lowest quote I could find among the Angie's List chimney sweeps in my area. Actually, Angie's List didn't show him in my search but luckily a friend suggested him. Nevertheless, he beat the rest, although I had to wait a coupe of weeks to get him down in our area (Gig Harbor). Many others had similar or longer scheduling delays, given that we were in the busy season (Oct/Nov). He arrived early and was very professional. He was willing to answer questions and provide tips on our woodstove/chimney.

John, the owner, cleaned the chimney at my house and cleaned up the firebox. I hired him in October, a pretty busy time for chimney sweeps, but he got to me within a week. He was prompt and very concerned about keeping my place clean while he did his work - he laid a tarp to protect my carpet. His work was very thorough and not an ash was to be found after he left my place. He even answered my questions and concerns about my chimney. He came recommended by a local fireplace shop.
