The plumbing work was done correctly with these exceptions: the water line to the refrigerator was disconnected in error; however, he did returned the next day to reattach and didn't charge me for that!  He left after doing the initial plumbing work without turning out the attic light or closing the attic access.  He didn't even bother cleaning up his work site.  I won't use him again.
I spoke with one of my neighbors who recently had a very large additional built and their home renovated. Their plumbing bill for the entire house including five bathrooms was $4000.

He found the cause of the slow drain to be improper venting. He installed the shower fixture. He was neat, meticulous and professional. I would definitely call Preston Plumbing again.

Preston came out right on time and quickly assessed the plumbing problems throughout my house. He explained what was causing the problems, as well as what he needed to do to fix them. He saved me money by suggesting I contact Moen to get the right valve cartridge for my shower, then quickly talked me through and demonstrated how to replace it. He seemed to genuinely like his job and got to task immediately. Before he fixed my outdoor faucet he told me the cost of the replacement bib and made sure I was okay with the cost. He then installed a new pipe to the faucet out of material that I didn't know existed! No more cracked piping in the cold temperatures! I know honest plumbers don't grow on trees and I am thankful I found Preston Plumbing on Angie's List. He's the real deal, folks!

The old water line to the house was bent by the plumbers when the house was built. We knew that, but it didn't seem to affect our water service. Recently, a leak had developed just above the bent / partially crimped water line. Preston fixed the line with new pipe, installed a water shut off valve, and fixed the leak in the pipe. While completing the fix, the old pipes were not cooperating. Finally Preston had no choice but to stop, go to the parts store for a specialty part just to fix our unique plumbing problem.

Preston was a perfectionist with his work and did an excellent job in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to have Preston back for future plumbing projects. He did a truly awesome professional job.

Preston's estimate was dead on, he really stuck by what he quoted.
While the materials he used were of a standard quality, the installation of everything did not go as well and there are several changes we will be making to correct the appearance of extra hoses, reducers, etc.
Our vanity arrived late due to stock and delivery issues, however, Preston did not check the layout of the sinks and drains, and how the back panel of the vanity did not jive with his supply and drain lines coming through the wall. I authorized him to use a hole saw to cut the back of the vanity, but it looks like he used a hack saw and now I shutter to look at the pass-through for the piping.
Fortunately the toilet plumbing and tub plumbing went well, and there were some difficulties that Preston overcame beautifully (various floor beams and joints were located inconviently). As long as you don't look in the cabinet under the sinks you can't see any of the errors.

"Hello [member name removed], thank you for leaving us a review on Angie's list! In regards to the vanity issues. When I roughed in the plumbing behind the wall it was for a standard vanity. The decorative vanity that you ordered had different plumbing heights for the drain and the location of the drains had only about a 8" window on each sink to be hooked up correctly. It would of been ideal to have the rough-in measurements at the very beginning. I did not charge extra to move the plumbing again to correct the issue. The lav faucets were in metric so the added connectors that I installed were needed for them to work. If you need any help or advice on any plumbing issue please feel free to call. Thank you [member name removed]."

We were running out of hot water before one complete shower.
I googled our issue, and figured it was a thermostat or the dip tube.
We called Preston and he came the next day, and he said dip tubes rarely go out.
He found that our upper thermostat was broken and fixed it.
He said as long as he was in there, he would also replace the lower thermostat it we wanted, which we did.
He also flushed the heater, saying that keeping sediment out of the heater extends its llife. Lots of stuff flushed out!
Preston is now our GO-TO guy.
We originally found him online
He recently re-plumbed our house to reverse direction of pipes from existing septic tank to street sewer.
We had gotten several estimates, and Preston Plumbing was the most reasonable, plus we just liked the guy.
He later plumbed a new bathroom for us. His work looks great, too...we women like that. :)
He is very humble and trustworthy...and he educates us on plumbing issues.
We recommend Preston unreservedly.
