Matt Johnson, owner and technician, provides excellent service. He fixed our washer, showed us what was wrong and advised that we did not need a new part. His work is guaranteed for 60 days so if the same problem happens again, he will come out, order a new part at that time, and not charge for his labor. He also checked out other parts of the washer and said they were fine. All of this for one price, $120plus tax. He also told my husband “if this happens this is how to fix it”. We are grateful to Angie’s list for the referral and to Matt for the great service.

No repairs needed, instead showed me what was causing it and how to fix it myself.

It was very timely. He showed up when he said he would. He had to order a part for it and he came out a day later with the part and fixed it. It works great. I thought it was a very fair price.

Matt was great! He ordered the part that he suspected was the problem and installed it. Now our washing machine is back to it's normal performance. Thankfully, we won't be cooling our heels at the laundromat for the time being.

An appointment was available within 4 days. Service tech showed up when scheduled and repaired the washer. No parts or return visit required. Peninsula's pricing is very reasonable with a FLAT rate of $120 + parts + wsst. The labor charge is the same regardless of how long the repair takes or how many visits. This the opposite of any previous appliance repair experience where the labor cost and trip charges end up costing as much as a replacement appliance. My only hope is that they expand beyond washers and dryers for the next time I need something repaired.

Matt (owner) was prompt and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He identified the issue quickly and was open and honest as we discussed whether the repair or replacement was the wisest solution. The machines soap dispenser had been leaking for a long time. Matt showed me the calcium build up, the wet drum and the ruined shock. Matt also was open about how he gained his experience and why he and his wife started this company. I felt like we won the repair lottery. I have three friends with failing washers and I have personally recommended Peninsula. Flat labor fee, professional, knowledgeable.

Matt was prompt, courteous, honest, and knowledgeable. In addition to successfully repairing our old, but beloved, Maytag washing machine, he checked it over and, at our request, ordered some parts for us to keep on hand for those things he thought might be at risk in the future. He lowered our final bill because a part was less than he had originally thought--obviously the right thing to do, but not everyone is that ethical. I would definitely hire him again.
