NORWEST CONSTRUCTION SVC

.Home Depot refers construction jobs to NorWest Construction. We purchased appliances at Home Depot & purchased other items like doors, moulding, etc from other companies. The Norwest estimator came out punctually, took measurements & sent us the bid. His measurements were incorrect, so we had to re-order the cabinets. Over a period exceeding 3 months, the project manager failed to contact us despite numerous attempts on our part to reach him. We did have some initial contact from a sub-contractor for electrical work but they are all working for NorWest. The Home Depot worker we consulted with also attempted to get the project manager and owner to get in touch with us. The project manager lied and said he had made several attempts at contacting us . Finally a couple of the NorWest office staff contacted us and apologized thusly "I have been following your project and it hurts me greatly that you have not been treated with very much respect. I know that it can be difficult to feel as though you are being heard when you are not getting a response that was promised to you." That was a wonderful response but at more than 3 months out,too little too late.
After Home Depot intervened the owner of NorWest contacted us by phone & apologized for the lack of service & follow up & assured us that he would get the work back on track. That didn't happen. Overall a very dissatisfying & frustrating experience.

They started the project but did not finish the details.  We have been using them for about 8yrs, but they never seem to finish the jobs completely as far as the final details.  They've left molding off and have not came back out to apply molding to windows and finish painting that has cracked and so on.  They say they can do these things within 30 days or so and  not more than 2 months, but we never hear back from them.  I have found this to be very disappointing and discouraging.  They do good work, it's just upsetting that we can never get them to finish up the last and final details.
