We wanted to replace our existing 12 ft X 12 ft cedar planked backyard deck with Trex brand decking and add a 23 ft X 20 ft Trex extension of that deck. While attempting to get bids from many contractors for this work we encountered all sorts of negative issues ranging from missed appointments,no callbacks to messages left on voice mail, clear lack of experience and/or knowledge, verbal bids not in writing, and even one contractor who provided a bid by e-mail based solely on a picture of our back yard that we sent, never visiting the site at all. The bids we did receive were much higher than we expected. We found Lee's Enterprizes on the Trex website where he had stellar reviews from others he had worked with. When I called Lee and left a message, I was pleased to get a callback within a very short time and we discussed our project in detail over the phone. We set an appointment at our house for the next day. Lee arrived on time as promised and spent a good deal of time with us going over what we wanted to do and the rough plan I had drawn. He carefully reviewed the site, measuring, taking notes, and discussing options for us to consider. He was professional and very personable, clearly knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of construction, remodeling and deck installation using Trex brand products. We were impressed with him both as a person and a contractor based on the reviews we found. He promised us a bid within 2 days. He sent a detailed, written bid ahead of his promised time frame at a cost that was much more reasonable than the others we had received. We decided to go with him for our project. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. He kept in touch with us as we got approval from our homeowner’s association for the deck extension, applied for all of the permits needed from the city and helped direct me to the proper offices to pay for the building permits. He and his crew began work on the day promised and continuously worked on the project every weekday until it was completely finished, including in the rain. Their work was of the highest quality. A neighbor, experienced in construction and finish cabinetry work observed them during the building process and made a point of telling us how impressed he was with how they constructed our deck, using nailing and framing techniques that take more time and effort than others but ensure higher quality results. Lee and all of his team were always helpful and cooperative including carefully removing the screws and stacking the cedar planks from the existing deck at my request so I could reuse the wood in the future for my woodworking hobby. The completed deck is absolutely beautiful, everything we hoped for. I can confidently and highly recommend Lee to anyone who needs any type of remodeling or construction work, not just decks. He is a true craftsman and can be relied upon to do what he says he will do when he says he will do it. He and his crew are personable, friendly, helpful, honest, experienced, knowledgeable, and hardworking. We could not have hoped for a better experience or a better result at a very reasonable cost.

Lee did an excellent job from start to finish; and was a quick study when it came to creativity, innovation, and preparation. He installed a "dry space" system under an existing deck; a system which required some on-line study to figure out. He showed up prepared with instructions in hand and made quick work of this challenging task. And yes, he is a "detail" guy; and I was sure glad he was when "artistry" was required to have all the pieces fit exactly right. We are 100% satisfied with his work. Lee was punctual to the minute (so I guess there are contractors that are!), and was a pleasure to work with,. You won't go wrong working with this guy.

Lee updated an existing deck off our living room. The changes were seamless and look like they were always there. You cannot tell where the old deck ends and the new extension begins. We are extremely pleased with his work. The project completed on time and on budget.

I never get any surprises with Lee.  He is upfront, honest, dependable and very punctual.  I keep going back to Lee, even when his bid is higher than the competition because I know that I'm going to get.  He is proud of his work and does it right.  When he was building the bedroom portion of the basement we requested that he put added studs in the wall in order to anchor the closet fixtures more firmly (we used pipe and pipe fittings for the closet and needed a wider mounting area than a regular 2x4). He forgot to add them, so he removed the drywall, added the studs and replaced the drywall without any issues or problems. He makes sure that he does it right and stands behind what he does. 

Everything he has done for me has turned out better than I expected.  He knows his stuff and it shows.

I put half down in December sometime, we needed to order custom doors to fit in our space, as it was not standard.  Lee got the doors in the end of December, beginning of January, and we scheduled an appointment January 5th if I recall correctly.  Lee showed up, and it had just snowed a bit during the night.  I asked him if he wanted me to move my car to make it easier to get it up...  (Didn't want to scratch my car.)  I moved it, and he proceeded to back up into the drive way..  It was pretty slippery so we filled a bucket of water and tried to deice the drive way a bit.  I helped him bring the doors up, and he grabbed the rest of his tools he needed to do the install. 

Lee asked if he wanted us to have him paint, as it was not included in the 1500 dollar mark..  Not a huge deal  I can do the painting no problem..  Lee did a great job in my opinion..  He was prompt,  courteous, and over all the quality of the job I feel was pretty darn good.  Framing was done very well.  I have a product that is ready to be painted. What more can you ask for?  He filled in all of the holes..  Filled in the cracks...  Very happy!  Thanks Lee!

Deck railing was failing and unsafe. The overall deck was old, tired and had an odd step down to a slightly lower level that was an entirely different decking material.  He replaced both levels making it one consistent Trex decking material as well as all one level. He also fixed the railing to incorporate my existing glass panels.  Throughout this process he and his team corrected the excessive deck slope from the house, making it a beautiful, sturdy, first class deck that I am thrilled with! 

I am your 'A-Typical' customer, in fact a stickler for details.  Half way through the construction I would come up with a design idea or two,,,,, OK maybe three.  Lee would roll with these suggestions and work with me to make them happen.  In fact creating a stunning 16foot natural cedar bench along one side of the deck. Changing my deck into a 'one of a kind'. 

There is not a lot of chit chat from Lee and his team, because they are there to work.....how refreshing!  He was punctual, polite and accomplished the job in the time line he said it would take.   

All an all, I think he walks on water.....but don't tell him I said so! (smiles). I would highly recommend his company.

From the day we met Lee and after interviewing other contractors the wife and I soon realized that this person was the one for us.
      Personality and professional attitude about his craft soon brought about an agreed contract.
His timing fit ours and he stared and ended as stated. His ability is amazing. No stone was left unturned to get things out and in.
       Daily cleanup was outstanding. We could spend more for items but with Lee's inputs cost were kept within contract even the additional work we added.
        In ANY future remodeling we would certainly call Lee first.
