They come out about twice a week and it comes to about $160.00 per month. Its not my personal residence, they do the yard work for the church. I would recommend them to anyone, they do an excellent job. I have a year contract but pay monthly. All they ask it that we keep the trash and animal waste picked up.

I have not had yard service before and I will be honest, I was concerned that I would have to supervise the work in order for it to be done to my standards. But Hubbard's blew me away!

I went out after 1/2 an hour and he had accomplished so much in the first half hour, I simply couldn't believe it. At the end of 3 hours, he had cleaned up the yard as I have never seen it before. It looks AMAZING. Beds and lawn completely cleaned up, deck blown and patio looks like it was cleaned (which was above and beyond what I requested). Some of the beds are difficult to reach and there was a lot of dead perennial wood. It was all gone. He took all of the debris with him. The staff were incredibly punctual, polite, respectful and I have never seen a young man work as hard as he did!!!

I have more work to be done soon and I will ALWAYS call this company!!! I am pleased to know that there are still companies out there with staff and services that strive to meet such a high standard. I would work with no other company in the future!

I like the fact that they have the equipment to do the work that I want done. I thought that their price was reasonable as well. Their responsiveness was great.

THEY HAVE BEEN MY MONTHLY LANDSCAPING SERVICE FOR 2 YEARS. THE OTHER SERVICE I USED WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, ONLY CAME WHEN THEY WANTED TO, BAD SERVICE AND THEY (IN MY OPINION) OVER CHARGED FOR CRAPPY SERVICE. I CALLED HUBBARDS AND THEY CAME. GAVE ME I FAIR QUOTE AND I'VE BEEN WITH THEM EVER SINCE.

Excellent work on our waterfront cliff. I was impressed. I will hire them again when the time comes for more heavy-duty landscaping.

I initially had to contact Hubbard’s a couple of times before getting a response. I can understand it is the busy season and Angies list can overload the good ones. The guy showed up and we told him what we wanted: “everything out of the power lines and off the roof, at least two feet away from the house… clean it up”
The quote was for about $650 and they showed up a couple days later to do the work while we were at our jobs. When I got home almost everything on the property had been cut to two feet from the ground, like a wasteland. They also left a rather large stump in the front yard from a removed tree, more than what I was expecting. There was a lilac plant that was nicely hiding a less than stellar looking gutter that I had specifically pointed out I wanted to keep in front of that gutter but it was cut down. The only things left were the plants growing through the power lines and over the roof of the house, which I was later told was because they were worried their power tools would cut into the power lines.
Since about 80% of the reason I hired pro’s vs doing it myself was to cut all that stuff off the power lines, we respectfully requested that they come back and finish the job, which they did do by coming back and cutting the two trees (or large bushes) to about three feet from the ground, rather overkill. They did do a nice job trimming a bambo bush that was hanging over our roof from the neighbors house on that second trip back.
On a final walk around, I noticed they had ripped off a support beam for my roof when pulling some vines down. It was left sitting in my front yard. I would have at least expected them to point out what had happened.
We have paid Hubbards in full and there is nothing else left for them to trim back, but there is a plethora of other landscaping things that we want to do on our property. I think at this point, we will be going with someone else for the rest of it.

I called Hubbard Landscaping and secured a time for an estimate of the work I need done. Fred arrived at the specified time to make the estimate. I accepted the estimate that was quoted to me via e-mail and then a date was set for the work and the work was done as I reported above.

We called to get an estimate, and were scheduled for a free estimate visit within a few days of our phone call. The owner came and measured our yard and we were provided with an estimate the next day, with a contract agreement and referral information. Very professional, very prompt, very friendly. They've actually just started providing regular service in Bainbridge Island (contrary to what's on the information column on the left of this website).
We opted for the annual contract for the basic lawn care package (mowing, blowing patio, collecting grass, etc.). We have a sizable front and backyard. The monthly fee of $150 includes basic lawn care that comes weekly during the warmer months, and 1-3 times in the cooler months. We calculated it to be an average of about $48 per visit over the course of the year, which is about the going price in the neighborhood. It'll feel a bit pricey in the winter, but will have to remind ourselves that in the summer, they came every week for the same amount, which is a bargain. It'll be really nice to not have to worry about lawn care all year. We also asked them to cut down some laurel branches that have been shading over our garden. $10/branch, they cut down the correct branches, and it's much easier than trying to rent a chainsaw for ourselves.
They've been coming for about a month now. Prompt, efficient, and does a nice job. Would def recommend.

They have been very good. They let me pay in installments instead of paying all at once, which was very convenient for me. They worked with me for the payments. I price shopped and they were the lowest. The other people were very competitive. They responded very well and their price was medium high. Their punctuality needs works because of scheduling conflicts, but I understand it. I have hired them for all of next year.

We originally found Hubbard Landscaping through Angie's List and asked them to come out and give us an estimate. We bought our house in December and needed help with landscaping work and with ongoing maintenance. Fred came over and discussed the problem areas and maintenance and provided us with a quote for maintenance as well as some of the special projects. Given our budget, we've decided to work on different areas over time and Fred has been very patient with this. He has already made huge improvements in our front yard by clearing out some planting areas and laying down wood mulch. It makes the house look so much neater. We were very pleased with the results and have a new quote from him to clear out some old garden beds, remove gravel and re-sod a few areas of the back yard.

Fred has been doing regular lawn maintenance on the house for the last 4 or 5 months. He and his team do a great job -- they are professional and quick and the yard always looks great. I would very much recommend the company to anyone.

I found Hubbard's Landscaping on Angie's List and called Fred for a quote. He came out to meet us, e-mailed us a quote, and we scheduled the work to be done. Everything was completed over the course of a week because of weather.
After the first day, there was already a major improvement in the curb appeal of our house.

I was using a service previous to Hubbards and it seem they only time they came by was when they needed money. So, i decided that i needed something more reliable. I found Hubbards thur the yellow pages. I called , he came by , check out my front and back yard and emailed me a quote. It's been cake ever since .

Fred is a hard worker with a great personality; always on time and not afraid to stay until the job is completely done and done right. I think the driveway was more than he bargained for but he stuck to it and left me with a job well done. Along the way I found him to be a great guy and dedicated family man. I have no hesitation in recommending him or in asking him to come back for other work.

Fred is far and away the best lawn and garden guy I've found in the six years I've been living here. Very accommodating fellow, intelligent and easy to work with. The lawn has been a constant source of discouragement for me. I’ve tried all sorts of things myself and with other landscape people, but I am confident that Fred’s solution will finally give me the lush, green lawn I hope for. Besides this project, Fred has also cleaned the gutters and pressure washed the moss off the driveway for me. In every project he has proved himself not only considerate and competent, but extremely conscientious about the quality of the service he delivers. I look forward to future projects with him and heartily recommend him.
