Exceeded my expectations. They blew me away in the time frame that it took to replace the roof.

Brian was the estimator who came out. He was prompt, courteous, and explained in detail what was required to do the work. He kindly reminded me to contact the satellite dish provider in order to relocate the dish prior to replacing the roof. Although I went with a different roofing company I was very impressed with Hanley's professionalism and the warranty that came with their services.

Jeremy did a great job assessing the problem and recommending the repair work necessary. due to the irregular brickwork on the chimney at the point where the flashing went it, it was not advisable to redo the flashing. He recommended contacting a chimney expert to redo that part of the chimney. Jeremy provided expert advice and assistance even though he ended up not bidding on the job since it was more of a chimney repair than a roof repair. He was very professional and there was no charge for the assessment on site.

I am very pleased with their workmanship and the time needed to complete the work once they started. It took a little more than two months for Hanley to start the work after I sighed the contract, but they were up front about this from the beginning. In addition to the roofing, they also installed steel rings on the roof ridge for fall protection for any future work on the roof. This feature was not explicitly listed in the scope of work, and is a great idea. On the downside, they forgot to include the cost of the 1/2 inch plywood sheathing in their original estimate although it was explicitly listed in the scope of work. This was a $5000 surprise and was a quarter of the total price. My mediocre overall rating and lousing rating for price are the result of this mistake in bid.

Mr Hanley is a reputable man. He roofs your house and he honors it. It was fixed in a matter of an hour. Very happy with the outcome.

Crew arrived on time were efficient, professional and friendly. Tarps were spread to collect any debris falling off the roof, the old shingles and tar paper were hand carried to a dump truck, new roof was hand nailed, and at the completion all debris on the tarps was collected, a magnet on wheels was run around to perimeter to collect any nails that might have fallen to the ground, additionally a blower was used to sweep the drive way.

The work was done in an appropriate manner. The roofer fixed the roof so it would not leak.d

Hanley employee cleaned portion of metal roof that was channeling water and put a little calk in place. No roof leak since.

Once they made the appointment they were here on time and finished the entire project in one day. They were neat and thorough and the roof looks great. The only problem we had with them was scheduling the appointment. We signed the contract in September and they didn't get around to doing the job until early January. They are very busy and we weren't in a big hurry. I'm sure if you needed the roof right away they would make accommodations for that.

I haven't paid them for any work done. I did have them briefly on a house we moved into two years ago. There was a problem with their lifetime warranty that they sent somebody out for which was part of their warranty. The warranty covered everything. He came out right away. He was very pleasant, professional. Hanley has a good reputation in the area. I chose not to use them on another occasion because they were way over priced for the job that I had for another house.

They've done work for me before and I was satisfied with them, so I contacted them for this job.

Jeremy Tubbs gave me an estimate and due to their schedule, it may take 3 weeks to start the work maybe sooner.. He was honest about the delay in start time if proposal was accepted... I did accept the proposal and the work started approx 1 week later. Everything on the proposal was done with no surprises... It has been 1 month since the job was completed (skylight...) with heavy rain and no leaks... Very happy with their time and service. Plan to do business with them in the future...

I only had them come for an estimate and ultimately did not have them do the work.

6 months after the 10 year guarantee was up, I had them come out to take a look at a leak that had been there for longer for 6 months. I wanted them to fix the leak and make it right or give me some kind of deal. They didn't even give me an estimate, so I won't be using them again.

Many details to describe Very comprehensive job Cost estimate was LOW by at least @ 35%.. BUT the work that was discovered that needed to be done was more extensive .. so I can't really judge. Very friendly crew! Owner came repeatedly to supervise work.. They had to bring in CRANE to move materials to roof.. Many more days of work involved Arrived ON TIME.. Left late often Subcontractors of Electrician and Gutter manufactured were all very GOOD too! Crew Work diligently.. Very pleased.. Would recommend

Excellent work and great crews, from tear off and small rehab, to installation. Cleaned up daily, and completely cleaned and removed all scraps, nails, and debris from site after finish.

Excellent communication. Brought shingle samples and left them with us to help us decide what we wanted. Showed up right on time for estimate and for work. Roofers were pleasant and considerate. Completed the job on schedule (4 days). Good clean-up. Roof is beautiful and I have recommended this company to my neighbors.

The Hanley folks were honest with us about cost. Both John and the roofer (I apologize I don't remember his name) called from our driveway to let us know they were out front when they arrived. The first fellow who came to look at the roof had another appointment that day but said he would work us in. He kept me appraised of his whereabouts and was even earlier that he expected to be. John was able to come out earlier than he expected as well. I couldn't be happier with their customer service. They will definitely be the first people we call with future needs.

Hanley Construction had worked on the roof before. This one was very simple. They were seemingly well-priced and responsive. They did the job in the right amount of time. They cleaned up well. I was satisfied with that.

I think Hanley's the best roofing outfit in Kitsap. They are going to match or beat most prices while still send out top notch workers. My primary complaint with them is that it took them over two months to finally get to my house but that may be unusual. Like I say, they were very professional and competent. You may find cheaper outfits but risk dealing with very shoddy service.

They have been very helpful, their prices are quite a bit higher than most people but the quality of their work is good and when you call them, they make it a point to show up. it's been a couple of months ago. I never did get the services that they were quoting me, it's just that they came by a couple of times and they gave me some temporary fixes, they didn't charge me for that. It's been real good so far, I haven't gotten back with them because I'm having a difficult time finding people that are willing and capable of doing the work. I'm happy that they're willing to come out and look at the job and possibly give me an estimate and I thought their estimate is too high. I haven't gotten the work finish yet and I'm still looking for a company that's willing to come out and look for it.

Hanley Construction's price was a little high, but it was good quality work. They were very nice, very professional, it was done exactly as they said it would be, and it was all done on time. They had a big crew, so they could work it pretty quickly. The price was a little high, but you get what you pay for. I would absolutely call them again.

We are acting as general contractors for building our house. Got 3 estimates for roofing that were fairly close. Decided to go with Hanley due to their reputation and we are really pleased. They hand nail their roofs and we feel they did an excellent job. They worked closely with us on scheduling to get buildings dried in as soon as possible. Very prompt and professional. Had a small drip around a weather vane that they kindly installed for us which they fixed within hours of being notified. When stucco was applied weeks later we needed flashing extended in a couple of places. They came out the next morning to fix this so stucco finishing was not delayed. Quality job and very responsive with excellent attention to detail. Office kept us informed at all stages and promptly called back when I left messages

They are prompt and courteous. They are very good at what they do. My wife was here while they were working, she was impressed with their mannerisms. I have nothing but good to say about them. We are extremely happy with everything.
