George's Electric

I called George's Electric to repair a bunch of things at the house, primarily a light switch that wasn't going off and a doorbell that kept sticking on. They were on time and super fast and, since I paid for an hour service call, they fixed every little thing I could think of within the hour, getting more done than I anticipated... they changed a dimmer switch to a regular switch and shimmed an outlet that had been sinking into the wall over time (drywall issue) .... so helpful! I couldn't be happier, and this wasn't the first time I had called them - they're 'starred' on my home helper list forever! Thank you guys!!

I had to fire my contractor, and when the electrician came ut to give us a quote-- simply did all the work that was needed! No waiting 3-4 weeks for the work! Love these guys.

Joe installed a new GFCI plug for our pond pump. The older one had moisture in it. Joe was a true professional.

He did a great job. He was very knowledgeable. He was very good. He is a good electrician for the money spent. 

It couldn't have gone better! The office staff are personable and helpful, service is prompt, the electricians fix the problems the first time, and my house has not burned to the ground! I'll always use and recommend George's electric!

Perfect.  Tim arrived right on schedule, did the installations, cleaned up all the debris and answered all my questions.  George's Electric is a very professional organization as evidenced by Tim, the Electrician and Cherie, the scheduler.  I definitely will use them again and would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work,

Wonderful, couldn't be more pleased.  Cherie called me back within an hour, listened to my needs and said she could send out a tech to do the light fixtures and would schedule the fan/light install for 2 weeks out.  Tim arrived less than an hour later and did a marvelous job, explaining everything to me and answering my questions about a possible new line for a basement stove.  Both Tim and Cherie were friendly and professional and I will definitely be using George's Electric again and would highly recommend them to anyone!

The electrician Travis arrived promptly.  He explained what he was going to be doing.  He was working in the crawl space, outside and inside.  Very respectful of our home, took booties on and off multiple times.  He was quick but very efficient.  He will be returning to hook up the AC when installation is complete.

*side note  We have used George's Electric multiple times now  once to install bathroom fans, another time additional ceiling lighting for our home.  This company is our go to for all things electrical and thus far a solid 5 for all things done in our home by them.

A handyman who came to my house to do so work took a look at my hot tub electrical connections to try to see why my hot tub was not working.  He told me it looked like someone had disconnected the hot tub electrical connections and diverted power from the hot tub to free up power to install a pump on my septic system.  (The septic tank work had been done on the house shortly before I bought it in June of 2012.)  I called the company that did the septic work about my concerns.  They said they hired George's Electric and would arrange for someone from there to come out to look at the work for no charge.  An electrician did, in fact, come out, examined the work, and said he did not disconnect the hot tub wires.  He asked me if I wanted him to reconnect the wires as long as he was there, and I said sure.  I think it took him less than 5 minutes to do the exam and reconnect the hot tub wires.  At no time did he tell me there would be a charge for reconnecting the wires.  If he had told me up front there would be a charge for reconnecting the wires, I would not have agreed to it.
For this "service", he proceeded to send me a bill for $95, which I paid under protest.  I believe what he did was trick his way into billing me for a service call, for which I was told there would be no charge.
Here's what I learned from this experience:
(1)  If you think something is wrong with a service that was done, if you call the provider, make them PUT IN WRITING there will be no  additional bill for rechecking the work.
(2)  If they won't do that, call Labor and Industries to file a complaint and ask for an inspector to come out to examine the work.
)3)  George's Electric is a company that charged me for a call, after being told by his contracting company, Clear Septic, that I would NOT be charged for the call.  In my opinion, George's Electric is DISHONEST and I would never use them again.   My advice is to NOT believe anything they tell you--get EVERYTHING in writing and have them sign it.

Arrived on time. Wore botties to protect floors. cleaned area where he worked. Went over everything to be done before starting project. Very efficient in what he did would most certainly use again.

He was wonderful! My husband was absolutely tickled at how professional and good he was. He came in and right away found what the problem was. We were surprised at how inexpensive it was and he even came out on the weekend. He explained what was going on and was a very helpful guy. My husband hung on to his card and will use him again if we ever need too.
