We called on a Tuesday and they were able to move her that Friday. That's good service on short notice. The crew was here on time and quickly had her things loaded and transferred to her new home in record time. Nothing was broken or dropped, furniture was placed just where she wanted it, boxes stacked in order and no damage to walls or floors incurred.

These guys are terrific - prompt, courteous and reliable.  They showed up 15 min before the scheduled time, loaded everything onto the van and we made plans to meet at the new place the next day.  They only move one household at a time, so there are no one else's stuff can get mixed up with yours.  We missed the ferry we had planned to catch, so they were at the new place well ahead of us.  By the time we arrived, they were almost done unloading.  Everything was stacked neatly as much out of the way as possible.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

The movers were prompt, fast, very careful with our property, courteous, and the price was very reasonable. They were even able to move our items as soon as we needed. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Honest friendly people

Generally good, except that there were supposed to be 4 or 5 men available at the starting point, because there was a baby grand piano to be moved down some stairs.  Only 2 men showed up.  They got the job done, but with some difficulty, that would not have happened had there been more helpers.

The guys they employ are awesome including the two one day temp hires from Seattle. They kept asking if they could take more stuff. At our new location they asked if we had changed our minds and wanted to relocate things. The moving guys were all very nice, very hard workers, and very pleasant working with each other. The crew were awesome. Price was 15% more than the quote, but they were so good that I did not mind.

The three man crew who moved us was amazing.  They were punctual, very careful of fragile items, and responsive to our requests and concerns.  They worked tirelessly for almost nine hours in the rain.  They worked very hard and as fast as possible, considering we had a lot of very heavy furniture.  We also felt their price was very resonable.  We could not have been more impressed.  We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing to move.

Sound Moving came through in a pinch, sending me two gentlemen that were professional, polite, and positive!
I needed help moving--and had to move heavy items.  I was desperate, and consulted Angie's List to see if there were good solutions out there.  My first phone call was to Sound Moving & Storage--and I had to leave a message.
Within an hour, I had a call back, and was able to make arrangements to move the next day.
The two gentlemen that came to my door were upbeat, personable, considerate, and kind--traits that were desperately appreciated during the moving process.
I will recommend Sound Moving & Storage again and again!

The estimate they gave us was pretty spot on, within $35, and the time estimated was also fairly accurate.  The movers were nice, professional and careful.  The only criticism I have has to do with tear down and set up.  They moved our washer and dryer but did not hook them up.  They partially disassembled our bed frame and did not reassemble it completely - same with another bed. They also removed drawers from a desk but did not move the drawers.
 Perhaps these things needed to be discussed specifically but I have had movers before and those things were taken care of without prior discussion.
I would hire them again but be more specific in the planning.

Because we were moving cross country we weren't sure exactly when we would arrive in Washington State and so  we hadn't made advance arrangements and were prepared to wait a few days, if necessary.  We called on a Friday and they arranged to have a two man crew meet us at the house on Saturday.  They were fast, courteous and careful.  No damage to our furniture or walls even though some of the pieces were large and took a bit of maneuvering up stairs, down hallways and through narrow doorways.  We were very pleased .  We haven't used their full service moving services or storage but our limited exposure was very positive.
