HATHAWAY CONSTRUCTION

I am extremely happy with all aspects of the work Hathaway Construction performed.
There  were several occasions during construction when I was asked permission to allow the crew to work projects other than mine.
On all but one occasion I was given an accurate estimate of work resumption at my site. Weather related work site conditions created a circumstance where the agreed upon return date could not be met.
The first time I was asked my garage was not in a state that allowed me to park my RV out of the weather. 
I declined the request and Hathaway Construction stayed at my work site until my garage was completed enough to park my RV inside.
In all I allowed the crew to work 3 jobs concurrent to mine and that extended my project completion by about 6 months. 
Because I expected delays when working with a smaller company I was never disappointed and I have a fantastic garage!
Note: I am not now nor have I ever been a a small business owner or Contractor. An honest small business that earns a living by traveling to perform skilled labor must have jobs in the pipeline almost constantly to stay solvent. In order to do that overlap will happen. Please help your Contractor facilitate concurrent job scheduling if you can.
If you choose Hathaway Construction and you remain just a little bit flexible on work scheduling you will be rewarded with a quality product that you will be happy with for years to come.

I called Hathaway Construction to request an estimate for the cost of tearing down an existing lean to and replacing it with an enclosed boat storage garage. No one was available to speak to me so I left a message on their answering machine. Ron Hathaway called me the next day and apologized for not getting back to me sooner. He explained that he had been out of town on business and we made an appointment to meet at my convenience. Ron arrived on time for our appointment and was polite and respectful. He provided me with information and ideas that were enlightening and innovative. I signed a contract with Hathaway Construction to build my garage. Work started on 3/31/11 and progressed quickly. The were 2 occasions when work on my garage was put on hold so other projects could be accepted and completed. On both occasions I was given the option of vetoing the acceptance of the new work to keep construction on my garage moving forward. With the current state of the economy I felt it was best that Hathaway Construction accept and complete as much work as possible so I did not object to my project being put on hold. One of Ron’s idea’s was to re-side the whole building to incorporate the existing 2 car garage and new boat storage garage seamlessly. After completion I have to say that it turned out much better than I had ever hoped it would. The building looks fantastic and it is amazingly functional. On top of it all the quality of the work is excellent. I highly recommend Hathaway Construction!
