Bicycles
After previously putting new tires and tubes on my reclaimed $20 bike (without any comment about my bringing tires and tubes I purchased somewhere else) and generally tuning my bike (replaced a piece of cable that was rusted and replaced the chain) I brought the bike back because the front tire tube would not hold air (slow leak). Tom replaced the tube (a cheap one I got elsewhere) and didn't charge labor because he felt that he should have caught that when he installed the tube initially. He did this work within an hour of my bringing it in. Previously he had completed the work, tires, tubes, etc., within the day I brought the bike in even thought he had other bikes to work on.
All in all my experience at the Bike Garage was very positive from Tom and his staff. Even though I am not a serious bike rider and didn't have "serious" equipment I was treated as such.
