I have never had to do something so hard in my life as to put down my best friend. Dr. Wagner supported me through the process in such a professional way. I was distraught and I know I was a challenge for her as well. She was a gem.

Dr Wagner was fantastic!  She previously diagnosed my dog with EPI and prescribed a course of treatment for him.  This check up was to follow up and  see how he was doing.  Together we developed the best treatment for his continued health and are completely happy with the care we received.

Dr. Thompson was thorough and communicated well; was careful to discuss costs of tests. One cat was diagnosed w/ hyperthyroidism. The jury is still out on effectiveness of treatment but we are quite satisfied with progress so far.

This was an unusual cost! I called that morning because we were running low on meds for one of our dogs. I was able to get an appt. with the tech that afternoon for lab work on both dogs (extensive lab work-up on one dog for seizure med control, labs on another dog with platelet issues). Normally I can just pick up refills, however it had been three months since their labs and we needed to know all was good. Due to the type of tests needed, both labs were sent out for testing. The cost included the tech fee, labs, refills on three medications, and a free nail clip for one of our dogs who won't let me do it! I find that everyone at the clinic is friendly and willing to help with any issue I have. With our dogs health issues, we are in their clinic quite often and have never had a bad experience. The vet calls us the next day and goes over the results of the labs, and we voice any concerns or questions with her then. If we were to see a change in our dogs, we can usually get an appt the same day. We live 20 minutes away from the clinic and prefer to see them instead local ones .. where we have had negative visits. I definitely would recommend Angeles Clinic for Animals to anyone seeking out a vet.

It seems that there have been a lot of changes at the clinic over the past several months, including staff changes that have made for some bumpy encounters. When I called to have my pets script refilled I asked to be called when it came in, as it is not a formula they generally have. I did not get a call and followed up. When I picked up the script it was curious that the price was much higher than it had been in the past. I didn't realize this until getting home. We called and were able to set things right with accounting but it was time consuming and initially they wanted to and quot;credit out accountand quot; and not refund the overcharge.
I have used the Docs at this clinic for several years and have liked all of them personally and find their care to be quite excellent. However, it does seem to me that once they became and quot;cooperateand quot; and not privately owned, that the focus and flow has changed greatly. I am hopeful that they will continue to iron out the bumps in their transitional road so that I can feel comfortable returning my pets to their care.

Our dog injured his paw and was licking it all night. We called and asked if we could get in to see the Vet and were given an appoinmtment on the same day in the morning. The Vet examined our dog and informed us he had a cracked nail and recommended trimming it to help it heal. She gave us instructions on how to care for his injury and eased our worries about it. The staff was great (as always) and we weretaken care of with no delays.

On all occasions, the vets met me at the appointment time, and in all
cases I felt that the attention my pet received was very good.
I enthusiastically recommend this veterinary.

The front office staff are very courteous and efficient. The vet. staff are exceedingly good with our , not always so friendly, dogs. And the Vets. themselves are open to naturopathic alternatives. A great experience overall.

I've been using Angeles Clinic for Animals for the last three years, ever since my oldest cat needed emergency vet services - the Clinic is the emergency vet for Port Angeles. The clinic is a little pricey but the level of attention and care given to my animals is well worth the extra cost. They can be difficult to get into sometimes, but they have worked wonders when I really needed to get my cat in for emergency care. I highly recommend them.
