Very responsive to call, came same day and surveyed the job, provided quote, and scheduled work for next day. Also included replacement of 3 gutter flashings that were improperly placed. Owner came to inspect finished job before presenting the bill. Excellent company.

Woody's Roofing was the second lowest and I did not go with them. I thought that Silver Bowl had a better product but I would have gone with Woody’s also because I was referred to Woody’s by someone else by my daughter in fact and so I would seriously considering them but I just thought maybe they wouldn’t have as good as a product. I could be wrong but because I think the product is very close but I did not go with Woody’s but I could have if Silver Bowl wasn’t hadn’t gotten such good reviews in Angie’s List I might have gone with Woody’s. The quote was a little bit higher it was maybe $300 or $400 higher so definitely within the ballpark. I think it was reasonable and I was impressed with their guy who came out here and it looked like their quality of work would be good to. I heard good things about them and I wouldn’t have hesitated to go with them.

The reviews on Angie’s List my perception that the products would be a little bit better I mean maybe my perception is wrong I can’t say it I can check it out and one person said the product was similar and another one said that the product I ended up getting was better and there was a little bit more selection with the Silver Bowl and so I perceive maybe Woody’s was a smaller company maybe that was wrong also but then when Silver Bowl had all those things and then they were the lowest bidder well I figured that was the way to go.

Well its very good experience. I called them and I asked to see some samples and he say I’ll be over in an half an hour with samples and he was. I mean because I said I go and look at them at your place and he said no I am working down the block I’ll just come over so I thought that was very responsive. I’m sure would recommend them.

On a different note with Silver Bowl that was another factor that made me want to go with them the hand nailing because I don’t think the subject came out with Woody’s because I didn’t go the extent with Woody’s that I did with Silver Bowl in talking to them maybe they hand nail maybe they don’t I don’t know and I got two other estimate and I never estimate the hand nail. The only thing it came out with was Silver Bowl with the last estimate I got and they said that they hand nailed all the shingles and I thought well that’s for me. That another reason that made want to hire Silver Bowl as oppose to the others and like I said I don’t if the others hand nail or not. Have I been considering them and have they been lower I would have gone back and ask them.

I called Woody's Roofing Company, gave them the address and they started to inspect it. However, the roof was mostly on the ground and rain was starting to come in so Woody covered it with a tarp. This was before any contract was signed. He did inspect it and sent me the proposal, I agreed to the price as it was close to the Insurance Company price. The weather was bad so they could not start right away, but it was covered with the tarp so I was not as worried as I would have been if it was unprotected. As soon as there was no wind or snow, they started the roof repair. They covered up the shrubs as they were working and there was no roof parts on the ground when they finished.
