Spring-Green Lawn Care

Our lawn is largely weed-free and is also denser now that Spring-Green is caring for it which is greatly minimizing difficult-to-control spurge weeds. It isn't as green as I would have expected, but my husband appreciates that there isn't excess top growth necessitating an additional weekly mowing. They also pointed out that the fescue grass in our lawn is overtaking the Kentucky blue grass and that fact, along with the heat, is contributing to it not being greener. We had a major crabgrass infestation last year, but have only seen it once so far this year now that Spring-Green is treating it. When he was here for a mid-season checkup, I asked him about our ailing plum trees, and he readily examined the trees, provided advice, and did not try to sell me services that were not needed. That says a lot for his integrity.

The technician always call the day before and my yard is free of weeds. He is well versed in what he does and gives tips on watering, etc.

We were not very happy with them. We signed up for a year and they kept coming back with all of these things we needed. We spent way more then we wanted to spend and it was not all that responsive. I would not use them again.

Spring-Green Lawn Care the gentleman came out, did not seem to be very clear on what he was doing. He walked around the yard and did give us an estimate, but I could take it or leave it either way. He came out about a month ago. He gave us a quote. He didn't have anything to offer about those problem spots. And he gave us an estimate for general lawn maintenance, spraying four times a year and that kind of thing. But did not have anything about the specific reason that I contacted him in the first place. I would say that he seemed competent when he got here, he was very late on arrival. I had set an appointment and I'm waiting at home because I work during the day. I was home here waiting for him and he was maybe half an our, 40 minutes late for our appointment. Even though he had a house he was treating four houses down. I saw the truck sitting there and he chose to go there rather than making our appointment. I finally called them to find out what was going on, the woman I spoke with called him and reminded him of this appointment. When he got here he did apologize, but he was not paying attention to his schedule.

I was reasonably happy of their services. I'm not sure of their prices now but I do know that their prices went up quite a lot quite way after last year and that's why I haven't sign them up for this year. I think the only thing I didn't like is their prices and you weren't quite sure when they were gonna come but they always call just before they came and it would be nice if they gave you a little more warning but that was it. As far as I can tell, they were pretty good, they killed the weeds.The front yard doesn't seem to be much better than it was before they started. They were very courteous and prompt. If their prices were more competitive with somebody else, I might give them a shot.

I always received a phone call and email a day or two before they are scheduled to come to make sure the time and date were good for me. I never had a problem with them - don't use them any longer as my son has started to do it for me.

I have been on the quarterly weed and feed program with Spring Green and have been saisfied with their services. I always receive a call a few days in advance of when they plan to come to make sure the date works for me.

The service person arrives promptly and is courteous, knowledgeable and professional at all times. He returns if there are any concerns. Otherwise, they return as contracted.

We received a mailer with a price of $240 for Spring Green to treat/fertilize our yard for a full year. After using other more expensive lawn services we decided to give them a try. We have been very pleased. They come out every 6-8 weeks and apply another treatment. They are always courteous and call the day before to let us know they are coming. The lawn went from weedy and sparse to lush and green after only a few treatments. We have tried Chem lawn and Tru Green and did not get the same results. The price is great too! I have called after a month went by and dandelions started sprouting up again, the office sent a tech out right away to retreat. We will continue using Spring Green!

They are awesome! We have used them for about 3 years and never had any problems. They are very friendly and helpful. A couple times I have had crabgrass come into our lawn and they come out and do an extra treatment, and that is included in our yearly plan. Another time I had clover really bad in one of my islands and while they were there spraying for weeds they sprayed the clover in the island too. They don't schedule when they come, although I'm sure they would if you really wanted to know but it's nice to just have it happen. They pick up whatever is on the lawn when they come spray, garden tools, hoses, kids toys, etc...which is really nice. I like that I don't have to be home or schedule it all the time, just pay the yearly bill and that's it. Our lawn is great and I never have to worry about weeds in the grass or fertilizer. On the day they spray the only restrictions are to not mow and maybe not to water for one day. After the stuff is dry it's also safe for kids to play on. Two of my neighbors have also signed on with them and I received a $15 bonus on my account for each neighbor!
