Sooner Construction LLC

Description of Work: Our house needed some sheetrock and texturing work done. I called Sooner Construction based on their BBB "A" rating. The person who was actually going to do the work came out at the appointed time and went through the house, taking notes as he went. He said that an estimate would be sent to us soon - that was in July. When August rolled around, I called Sooner and asked where our estimate was, and the girl who answered the phone said the office manager would give me a call back - it never came. I waited a week or so longer and called back again and talked to the office manager. She did call me back to inform me that the paperwork had become "lost" on her boss's desk, and somebody would have to come out and do another estimate, since it had been over 30 days - I was astounded, since it was certainly not my fault that the estimate was over 30 days old!! Most companies at that point would have been embarrassed enough by that to let the estimate stand or offer a discount or SOMETHING to try and keep a customer - not them! I had to get a brand new estimate. Apparently they had become very busy, and the person doing the work could no longer keep up with doing the estimates, so they now have a separate person doing ONLY estimates. So this person came to the house and went over all the work again, and I inquired how long it would take to get the estimate. He said he was pretty sure that he could get it out by 8/25. It is now 9/3 (two weeks after his visit), and still no sign of the estimate.
