Kraig was by far the most thorough and kind home inspector we've ever had. He inspected a 1914 home we are in contract to buy and was incredibly detailed. We received a 38-page inspection report with photos and explanations. Craig uncovered some major issues at the house. He was able to explain where we could negotiate repairs from the seller, and helped us see some issues as ones we could easily fix later. It helped us prioritize what exactly to negotiate. 
He spent 4 hours inspecting the property and ended up saving us thousands of dollars. We've had poor home inspections in the past and those aren't worth the savings - you get what you pay for. Go with Benoit Home Inspection Service. A+.

Kraig helped fit me in to meet my short
timeframe, showed up on time and did a fantastic job. We discussed the process
and he made it clear I was welcome to walk with him and ask question-- not
similar to previous experiences with other inspectors. His careful
consideration of my question and obvious expertise with a variety of
construction types was useful in this instance of an older home that had been
added on to and also increased my overall satisfaction.
Kraig was thorough beyond my expectation and complete. As we discussed the
additional mold/air test he clearly broke down the costs and the process. 
Now that we have the inspection, nold air
test and radon test completed I am glad to say that I would recommend BHIS and
am very pleased with using Kraig Benoit?s services.  I was encouraged to ask all the questions I
had and we talked through test results to be sure I understood them.

Very thorough. He gave me suggestions on how to winterize my home afterwards, and made a list of items for the seller to fix, he broke up the list between things I should keep my eye on for regular maintenance and for the seller to fix. Also provided an energy summary to save on energy costs.

He showed up on time and with all his equipment ready to go. He was very thorough and spent 3 hrs inspecting the house and explaining everything. He answered all the questions I had and gave advice on some future home improvement plans we have. The report was ready the next morning and was very detailed with nice pictures and suggestions. I would definitely hire himagain and I recommend him to anyone in the Spokane area needing a home inspection.
