"Great service, removed old lawn, installed sprinkler system, installed topsoil and new sod. Start to finish in 3 days, Kyle kept us informed of the schedule and crew worked super hard. We recommended his company to my in-laws and they love their new lawn install as well!!!"

Small jobs welcome

"José and his crew did a great job! They did all I asked for, and my yard is just so much better. A great job trimming the shrubs and cleaning out the flower beds! They were even able to mow and edge my very wet and overgrown lawn. I will have them come back in the fall to help ‘winterize’."

"I highly recommend this Landscaper. He was on time for our scheduled estimate and offered to complete the work and offered to complete the job immediately. His work was thoughtful, professional and impressive. Within a couple of hours he hauled out tons of yard waste that would have taken me days to clear out and even removed leaves from my garden beds. My yard looked amazing. 5 stars"

"Dan and his crew came into a yard that had not had any maintenance since September of last year. They had to string clear the lawns before being able to mow. the beds around the house had not been edged and took time to make sure a clean edge was made. They cleaned up the debris from winter and trimmed bushes/shrubs that had finished blooming. Left the yard, driveway and beds clean, hauling all debris away. We will continue working together."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

The decision of whether or not to let moss grow in your yard depends on your preference. Moss is a lower-maintenance alternative to grass that looks green and lush but doesn’t require irrigation, fertilization, or mowing. Unlike grass, moss doesn’t attract pests, so it can keep your yard free from bugs as well. However, moss won’t stand up to heavy foot traffic as well as turfgrass.

If you notice your grass is growing quickly and it’s hard to keep up, cut down on how much you water and fertilize it. Another helpful method is to mow the grass at the highest setting your mower will allow. Mowing at a higher setting slows grass growth since the blades won’t need to repair themselves as quickly if they’re kept at a longer length.

The cost of yard work depends on the type of work you need done. The average cost of lawn care is $300, but you could pay as little as $100 or up to $500.

Always begin by removing large debris, leaves, and branches from your lawn to make room for the rest of your lawn maintenance checklist. Move on to mowing, weeding, and edging in the spaces between your lawn and garden. Lastly, clean off all hardscapes, porches, and patios for a fresh and tidy appearance.

In most cases, it is worth paying for professional lawn care. DIY lawn maintenance is possible, but it can get extremely time-consuming, especially to make your property look well-maintained. Not only is lawn maintenance time-intensive, but it can also get expensive, even to DIY, especially considering the cost of fuel and maintenance for your lawn care tools. Professional lawn care services average around $100 per service, making it a relatively inexpensive investment, especially for how much time it saves you.
