Water leak under kitchen sink. Cleaned 4" drain pipe from disposal of green peppers. Charged $300. After they left, drip continued, found faucet leaking. No value for money here.

They provided the faucet. They arranged with my tenant for access. She said they did an excellent job. I paid them over the phone. Could not have been easier.

They were okay.

It went great. The guys were checking the water heater and released the pressure on the relief valve. That let out the air that was trapped in the system after the ice blockage melted...problem solved.

They are efficient, timely, and knowledgeable. They showed me exactly what was wrong and what they would do to fix it.

Very down to earth, friendly. I felt like he was honest and didn't try to take advantage of us.

The workmanship seemed just fine, but all along I felt that it was quite bit over priced. I went ahead and had them do the work because it needed to be done quickly.
I was impressed that the worker did some other things to button it up that was not required. He squirted foam to seal the cracks in the floor and did some nice work on the floor to reinforce the water heater.
There was something fishy about their pricing and how they were doing business, so when it came to remodeling my kitchen I did not call them back, but used another referral from a trusted contractor. In passing I asked him how much he would charge to replace a water heater, run new lines to the crawl space, and reinforce the floor for the water heater. He said he would have charged something like 1,500 -2,000 dollars.
He also said he would have put a pan under the water heater in case it leaked again to prevent further water damage. He also indicated that he would have used some different parts because of what happens over time with the parts that Yelm Plumber's used.
I understand there is some variability in the way Plumbers work, but over $3000 seemed really steep for what work was done.

They had gotten good grades on the Better Business Bureau site, and I thought I would give them a shot. I got really good information from them. The problem was pretty much what I had suspected but it was good that that was confirmed. Most companies consult for free but Yelm Plumbing doesn’t - they charged me for the evaluation that they did. They were really high-priced, but other than that they were wonderful to work with. The person who came out was very knowledgeable, and the quality of his work was excellent. They are the only company that I’ve ever dealt with that calls 30 minutes before they arrive. I would love to deal with the company again but they are just way more expensive than other companies.
