We wanted to refinance the home to take advantage of the lower rates.  After watching the interest rates fall below 3.5% on average, we contacted WSECU.  The mortgage broker there was very professional and answered all my questions.  We went over various scenarios to come up with the best refinance package that lowered the interest rates to the maximum amount while also putting down the minimum amount to remove the Private Mortgage Insurance.  He sent the link to fill out the application online and kept us up to date during each step of the process.  The whole process went very smoothly, including calling us on his day off (bank holiday) to let us know the appraisal report came in and the next steps to lock the rate if we wanted.

I have been using them from the last 30 years. They are fabulous and I wouldn’t use any other credit union. I am not charged any fees when I use their credit union in itself. They are partners with other credit unions who don’t charge any fees either and their checking account is free too. I have my checking and savings account with them. They have carried my mortgage but I don’t have it now. They have been consistently good and prompt.

I have had a very good experience with them.  I find credit unions to be much more responsive to my needs than banks.  Their fees are much lesser and they have better interest rates generally.  They have been doing this since 1970.
