About us
Realty Check Inspection Service is a fully qualified, trained and certified property inspection company that protects buyers, sellers, lenders, brokers and agents alike. Through our background and education in the construction building materials industry and our commitment to continued education in the property inspection field, we can provide an accurate and thorough visual inspection service on any size property. Our service includes a computer generated report that details any visual findings that could affect your initial assessment of the property prior to the consummation of the sale, including (if needed) full color digital photos. The report is expedited to you electronically so you can keep going forward in your transaction. The report will include a review-able copy of the WA. State SOP (Standards of Practice) so you will better understand the inspection process and know what to expect from us in regards to our service.

On the day of the inspection, Peter arrived early and was very professional and polite. He got to work right away, took lots of pictures, and communicated with us about any major things that he saw along the way. He offered suggestions as to how to remedy any problems that he saw, instead of just noting the problem itself. He was just as thorough in inspecting our brand-new home as he would have inspected a used home, and I appreciated that. His service included home inspection, pest, and gas leak check. He spent a little over 2 hours on our inspection.
Peter's report came very quickly - he did the inspection at 4pm and I had his full report and summary report in my email inbox by 8:30pm that same night. Since our home was new construction, the builder had agreed to address any issues noted on the home inspection report before our final walkthrough, so his promptness was greatly appreciated in that sense. He worked with me to make sure that the summary report was done exactly to my liking so that the builder could fix the issues. The report was very thorough, and included pictures of any issues that he saw accompanying his written description.
Additionally, I asked Peter to come back to the house the following week before our final walkthrough to re-inspect the crawlspace to make sure that the issues he had found down there (extra layer of vapor barrier and leftover construction debris) had been taken care of. Despite my giving him only a day's notice for this request, he found time to fit this into his schedule and did not charge me for the follow-up check.
Overall, I was VERY pleased with Peter from Realty Check. He was prompt, professional, and his pricing was clear and fair. He answered my questions clearly and made sure I understood his answers, and he responded to my emails and phone calls quickly. I plan to use him again to perform our 11-month home inspection, and would recommend him without hesitation.
