I had a poor experience working with this company. I scheduled them weeks in advance to install a tankless water heater. On the day of installation, I called to confirm my appointment time and was informed I had been rescheduled to earlier in the morning without my knowledge. Luckily, I was able to leave work early to accommodate. An hour before the plumbers were scheduled to arrive, I got a call saying they had to cancel and wouldn't be able to reschedule for another few weeks. After much back and forth, they did agree to come install the unit a couple of days later. The plumbers rushed through the work, leaving screws half sticking out of walls and splitting wood due to not pre-drilling holes. The PVC pipe that was used was old, dirty and in need of extensive cleaning. A couple of weeks later it rained for the first time since the unit was installed. I had water leaking down through the vents due to issues that had not been addressed at their initial visit. I had a rusted vent that should have been replaced. Instead, they clamped rubber flashing too tight around the vent causing it to split and leak water. I had the plumbers take pictures of the roof venting on the day of installation, which (upon later inspection) shows the cracks created. I sent this to the company and they denied their work created these cracks. I was told that, in order for them to come fix any issues, I would have to pay cash upfront. Ultimately, I ended with a lot of time loss from work due to scheduling issues and a water heater that leaks. The receptionist was extremely unprofessional.

We have used Plumb Line four different times including two bathroom remodels. Greg is awesome to work with. He is a true professional and his work is absolutely top notch. I am very pleased.

Plumbline used to send Vern. He was awesome. He unfortunately retired. The kitchen faucet could not be installed because I bought the wrong one. No problem, my fault. The tub spout was installed in about a minute and the plumber failed to caulk it. That leak just cost me $165 to have another plumber come out and determine the cause of the leak, and to repair it. I will not use Plumbline again and it is because of this one incident. They need more Verns.

I scheduled a service call through my home warranty company to fix a leaky faucet. Everything went well, and I was happy with Plumbline's service, as I have been every other time they've fixed something for me. However, today, two days after the faucet was fixed, I noticed that the shutoff valve under the sink was now dripping; don't know if something was accidentally loosened when the faucet repair was done, or if it was just missed during the first visit, but I called them and told them what was going on, and within a couple of hours they were here to fix it. This would be great service any time of year, but it so happens that today is the Friday before Christmas, and I called at about 1 pm. There's no way I would have gotten the repair done within a week of finding this new leak if they hadn't have gone to the trouble of making time in their schedule to help. Thank you so much, Plumbline, for going out of your way to provide great service!

It went well. He worked steadily and efficiently. I chose to go with Plumb Line for two reasons: first, they gave me the best price; and second, because I liked the way that Greg communicates, explaining clearly my questions about the heater that he installed.

Gary got right down to business.. He quickly found where my kitchen faucet was leaking. He recommended that he install the new faucet I had bought, which I bought because my existing faucet was old. While he was under the sink he realigned some of the water lines so the new 'pull-out' line on the faucet would work easily. He also fixed the leaking hose bibs quickly. He was a little late getting here but I was informed early in the day that he was running behind schedule.

He did not waste any time. He had the right equipment. He even has a pump to drain my water heater without waiting for it to drain on it own. When he had to go under the house he did not even waste time to put on Special gear. His efficiency saved us money! He cleaned up and patched the Sheetrock.

Everything was done well and in a timely manner. Cost was reasonable for the work done. My gripe: plumber didn't anchor the sink to the wall. We never discussed this outright, but I feel that "install" means everything A to Z.
Response from Plumb Line Plumbing & Remodeling Inc
"We apologize for the oversight in not anchoring the sink to the wall. With a quick call from you we could have come back and anchored it for you right away. I will call you to make an appointment to do this, of course, at no charge. Thank you, Cheryl"

We priced water heater and installation costs at Big Box stores and other possibilities. Plumb Line gave us the best price for an excellent water heater. They arrived when the said they would, removed the old water heater, installed the new. Everything went without a glitch. We have used Plumb Line before with the same results.

We have use this company three times. The first two times (with Vern as the plumber), we were given excellent care. He did exceptional work and even explained the work he was doing. He was experienced and professional and he completed the work within one hour of labor. With the senior discount, the cost was just under $100. I highly recommended this company to others. This last time was like going to my favorite restaurant and learning that there was a new chief and discovering the food was lousy!
When the two men arrived, they informed me that one of them was learning the trade and the other one (Colton) I learned later was not. They completed the work together. The one learning the trade has more difficulty and he seem to take more time than I think would be necessary if he were experienced. Unlike the other two times when Vern came, the men snaked the drain and re-hooked everything only to discover that they needed to do everything again a second time. Eventually, they got it right and the drain seems to be working fine now. I appreciate it that they check the line a second time to make sure it was cleared. My complaint (the first time I have ever given Fs) is that they charged me for their delays and took more time than an experienced plumber would have. They charged 1.6 hours. During the other two visits, when Vern replaced toilets mechanisms, repaired showers, cleaned a shower drain with a snake, he was quick and experienced and it showed. In this case, both men were respectful and I enjoyed listening to one of them share his excitement over an anticipated trip to Florida. (As an educator, I like supporting new learners and appreciated his willingness to look at an old pipe in our back yard for a couple minutes). However, I didn't expect to have to pay extra for their inexperience. I contacted the person who answers the phone (Cheryl). She was very professional and informed me that she talked to the owner who spoke to the young men and they decided that the time charged was appropriate. I don't agree and, I regret to say that I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AGAIN!

I had Plumb Line come out a year ago.  Vern replaced the dip tube inside the hot water tank that had completely dissolved.  He did a great job.  He was able to use tools that he had made himself specifically for old water tanks.  A younger less experienced plumber would have just recommended a new tank.  Vern then cleaned out all the faucet aerators, the washing machine trap and snaked the bathtub drain.  He also diss-lodged  the in-sink disposal too.  He said then that the faucets would probably get build up again from the dissolved tube.  And they did, so I called and specifically asked for Vern to come out again.  So, when Colton showed up for the appointment, I was at the least hesitant.  Colton promptly said, "Sorry, Vern is very busy on another job, but just to let you know, Vern taught me everything I know."  And Colton did a fine job.  The faucets are running great and the washer trap is clean.  Vern should be very proud.  And I am thankful.  Plumb Line is great!
