They were extremely good at keeping me informed about the project at every step and they were very professional. The owner even came to the house at the conclusion of the project to ensure I was satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced roof with presidential shingles new gutters and replaced 5 windows on upper floor with tripple pane. | |NP scheduled my roof replacement (about 5 weeks out) got weekly updates and roof was complete in 2 days. There was an issue with getting the windows from the manufacturer which casused delays in the window install. |Mid October noticed a leak around the furnace exhaust vent. They came out the and repaired the problem.

Description of Work: Put on a new roof. Our roof was a very complicated and large job. Plus they found rotten wood when they tore off the shingles requiring extra work. The owner, Mark, was very helpful and professional in explaining the added cost. Jay came out daily and kept me informed on what was going on. Michelle called nightly to make sure I was pleased and let me know the next day's plan. It was extremely hot and the workers put in long days to get it done. I highly recommend Northern Pacific.

Description of Work: We interviewed numerous roofing companies obtained several bids, and selected Northern Pacific not only because it was the lowest bid - which it was - but because of the knowledge and professionalism of the owners, Kasim and Mark. The workers were very careful about cleaning up after themselves and protecting the plantings around the house. When we were not pleased with the look of some flashing around the chimney, the crew returned to make it right. Every evening while the work was under way, we received a phone call to check on how things were going and to see if we had any concerns. The roof looks wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience.

Description of Work: They came out, measured roof, gave me samples to choose from, talked about type of repairs that may need to be made to plywood and told me approximate square footage of shingles needed. Our roof was about 34 year old cedar shake and we chose Northern's highest quality, best warranty asphalt shingle. Northern came promptly knowing we had a leak and fit us into their schedule. They professionally replaced any rotted plywood, fixed venting within roof cavity & insulation and put on shingles. We also had them install new gutters. They also re-secured our chimney pipe. They were very thorough and professional. I would recommend them highly. I chose them because they were the top rated roofer on Angie's list and I didn't want anything less on something as important as my roof. I contacted and got three quotes and chose Northern above all. I'm so glad I used them.

Description of Work: I worked with this company to replace the siding on my house, replace the roof, and add new gutters. This was the first time I had ever worked with a contractor on such a big project. They were respectful and honest from the start when we met for the estimate. They worked with me to get everything done within my budget, and did not go over when it came time to pay. Their office staff was in touch with me from the moment we scheduled the work, keeping me informed as to when it would acutally start, and then checked in with me each day the project was in progress. The onsite team was on time, worked quickly, did great work, and, best of all, cleaned up every evening. The final job was extremely well done. I did have some questions about a couple of things, and the owner of the company met with me to answer all of my concerns to my satisfaction. I would recommend this company for any project within their purvey. They are highly professional, yet very approachable and will answer any questions or fears you might have. I would use them again in a minute. Their bid was not the lowest, nor was it the highest. They are definitely worth working with for peace of mind that your project is done well.

Installation was very quick, just two days including cleanup, it looks fabulous, handled the last spate of wind and rain perfectly, the workers were friendly and professional and even hauled my groceries from the car when I couldn't get around the crane and had to park down the street. How much nicer can you get? :)

Description of Work: 1. they did an aerial measurement. Then they came and did an actual physical measurement. The owner then came to discuss the price. WE made an agreement.Within two weeks they called to make a date to come and replace the roof. they were done with in two days.I would say that they did a very professional job in a timely manor and my yard was left in pristine condition. I appreciated the fact that they told me what they were going to do and they did it.

Description of Work: I located this contractor through an Angie's List Big Deal. Because I had not one, but three layers of asphalt shingles on the roof, and the original wood undersurface from the house's construction in 1948, my cost ended up being more than the Big Deal offer. However, in the process I learned from the very knowledgeable general contractor/owner, Kasim Shake, all about roofs from how they are constructed, what different materials could be used including the uses and advantages of each, and how the work is performed and by whom. Improvements in the roof's venting was also recommended and done with the roof replacement. . Kasim personally came out to see my roof and give me an estimate. He is personable, professional and trustworthy. He explained thoroughly what replacing my roof would entail and provided a written contract with breakdown of all costs. I was regularly apprised of when materials would be dropped off including a dumpster, and when the work would be done. Kasim's fantastic office manager, Michelle, kept in touch with me regularly throughout from beginning to end. The roofers came on time on the day scheduled. The work was done in one day, and the work site was left so clean you could hardly tell they had even been there except for the beautiful new roof. Kasim came by after all the work was done to settle up and make sure I was satisfied with his company's work. Amazing extra pluses: before and after pictures of my roof, including detail of the tear off and new roof construction, and a box of amazing and delicious chocolate covered strawberries, both completely unexpected. And how about this: I had noticed a crack in a side wall in my basement garage, and knowing Kasim was a contractor, asked his advice when he came over at job's end. He came down to the garage to look at it, and gave me useful advice on how to proceed in determining the type and seriousness of the problem. This is what good customer service and good human beings look like! I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for roof repair or replacement. They also do windows and siding.

Description of Work: They removed 3 layers of old roofing, enhanced and updated the configuration and installed composition roof on a 2-story home and detached garage. In addition, they replaced all gutters and downspouts. They were punctual, efficient, and did an exemplary job on all of the work. The management kept us informed of all aspects of the process in a timely way. They were very dedicated to doing a good job. They even provided us with before and after photos of the roofs and their result was a marked improvement. We were pleased enough that we intend to get a quotation from them re: replacing the all the windows in this house. We would not only not hesitate to recommend them--we would encourage people to use their company. We had no complaints and were very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: To begin the process, I bought the roofing package through Angie's List, so I also got airline miles through my credit card.Once you agree to the online deal, Northern Pacific then scans your roof from satellite images, and plans an EXACT estimate based upon the materials you choose.Due to our interesting weather, it took a few weeks before they could start.After starting, the second day was just an all-day downpour, and work was just not feasible. During the downpour, though, none of my roof was exposed to the elements.I had a cedar shake roof, without any plywood underneath. So it was rather labor-intensive to remove the old, rotting wood -- and then put down plywood -- before even beginning the re-roofing process.The newer technology shingles from Malarkey are rubbery, and they won't snap and break like the old stuff from the seventies. Everything went smoothly, and the price was set to the penny before the project began.I had gotten a number of estimates, so I knew that I was looking at $25,000 and up, based on materials. Northern Pacific priced it out at $25,718. i agreed to the deal THAT DAY -- realizing the value -- especially in comparison to the other estimates I had.From start to finish, the workers put in about three-and-a-half harrowing days. My roof has a turret, and some very steep peaks. I know I would not want to go up there.Good work. Good price. Good workers.
