They charged $3500 for the painting and I paid them hourly for the construction work. I originally contracted them for painting because the pictures of work they had done looked good. I was siding the house myself and contracted them to paint it when I was done. I was running out of time and they also claimed to be a construction company so I asked them if they could help throw up some pieces of siding. The price was good. They did a great job on the painting work but the construction work was poorly done. I kept having to manage them and point out what they were doing wrong. I had to keep asking them not to do things that were detrimental to the project. I would not use them in the future.

Denny and his crew painted my hallway - all pantry doors. I was blown away by Denny's estimate - less than half what I was quoted by others. Having found him on Craigslist I thought maybe he wasn't very experienced, so I asked for references. I called them all and every one of them raved. And now it's my turn. Denny and his crew were amazing, fast, reliable and did a fantastic job. I was so pleased I had him bid on my kitchen and the exterior of my house and again the bids were less than half of other bids I've gotten. (The exterior bid is $2600 less than my cheapest bid and $5000 less than the most expensive bid! The kitchen is less than half what I expected to pay) After they left I decided I hated the color I had chosen and called him back. Although he was booked all week Denny promised to come by and redo the entire job in my new color for a nominal feel of $100 after he finished his day in Puyallup. They were due between 3:30 and 4pm. After a long day at work and hours caught in traffic Denny and two of his crew got here at 6:30 pm and repainted the hallway. Yes, they were late, but only because there was horrible traffic and Denny called me twice along the way to update me on their ETA. I could tell they were exhausted wanted nothing more than to get home and relax, but they were cheerful and did another wonderful job. This week I called Denny to ask if they could do another coat of the new color because I want the texture more smooth and glossy. He first asked if he could wait until they do my kitchen this fall, as they are so busy - but when I said I'd prefer they do it sooner, he offered to come this week again. This guy is the real deal. If you talk to him you'll find he loves what he does and had a whole philosophy about doing a good job, making people happy and doing it all for a price they can afford. I honestly don't know how he makes a living. I hesitated to post this review because three of my friends already lined him up for jobs, and I'm now worried about getting my other work scheduled because he's getting so much work and such a great reputation around town. But this guy is such a treasure (this is the word two of the references I called used, and now I know why!) I wanted to repay him for his great work by posting here. By the way- he has a great team and they also do all sorts of other work. He's going to clean my roof and gutters and install new kitchen floors when the time comes. (again, amazing bids!) If you need anything done around your house, it's worth a call.
