What an incredible contracting experience! I recommend them to anyone in the Puget Sound region looking to a fencing company. They completed my front yard in less than a day and a half, and the quality is superb. I sought out a half dozen or so bids for the job, and they were the most affordable. To achieve the trifecta of the most affordable, the quickest, and the best quality is truly impressive. They also gave me tips to ensure longevity and stain recommendations that paired well with the wood used for the job, which I appreciated as a nice above and beyond. They clearly care about their work and with how pleasant the experience was, they deserve to take pride in it.

The job went Grate. Everything that was expected and more. The most pleasing part was they kept Everything clean. And did not walk on my grass.

These guys are the only ones I will go through for fencing. They were on time, and communicated very thoroughly with me throughout the entire process. They know how to build beautiful fences and are also very knowledgeable in fence care for when the job is completed. Washington state is a rainy state and fences sometimes dont last as long as you expect and they helped me understand that. Certain materials last longer than others and they gave me peace of mind in that aspect when I asked how the weather would impact my fence.

The original job took over two months when Mr Martinez told me it would take a week or two. His workers were left unsupervised even though it was clear that they lacked the skills to do an adequate job without ongoing guidance. One of the workers poured the excess concrete that covered the base of a tree. Old fence posts were left sticking up after the old fence was removed. The list goes on. The workmanship was extremely sloppy. Different board widths were used. Some screws miss the board or post entirely. Ill placed screws split some of the boards. Boards were cut too short and they do not reach the posts that should secure them. The boards were not sanded. I paid a lot of money to have the boards removed and sanded (by someone else) later. The two gates they built were barely functional. Both were so poorly constructed that they quickly failed. I have had to replace the front gate and redesign and partially rebuild the side gate. The front gate was too heavy for the hinges used, it’s latch filed, it warped within a week or two, and it could not be opened or closed without great difficulty. It hung crooked, which made the entry to my home look shabby. A second gate could not be opened completely because the tree close to it (that I paid Martinez Brothers to remove) was not removed at its base. A “stop” to keep the gate from running off the roller was promised and never delivered, even after multiple reminders. The materials used for the fence and both gates are so poor that I have been told by several experienced builders it will not last 10 years, even with adequate prep and staining. Many boards warped severely within days of being put up. Many more have needed replacement. Metal fence posts were not set vertical and will need to be replaced and the fence rebuilt. The fence is not level and the fence boards vary in height at the base. I was wrongly charged $750 for a “second side”, an add-on that was never a part of our agreement.

Not very well, as evidenced by attached photos. We learned recently that Mr. Martinez has not been licensed since 2013, and believe he just sent inexperienced/untrained men to do this job. Mr. Martinez has been unresponsive since the job was completed. We've since had the fence replaced, and will take care in checking credentials before hiring workmen in the future!

He supervises his workers very well. There was one worker and then him to supervise. They didn't get back to me on a question I had recently which is why I didn't give him a A. They left the area clean when they were done.

Used this company for multiple projects.  The chain link installation which was performed was quick but multiple sections of the fence did not have adequate tension in the bottom wire and needed to be retightened.  During the last project a large deposit was requested and I had to contact the owner multiple times in order to get the project to be started.  A utility pole was taken down on the property, it was supposed to be hauled but instead it was dumped in a different part of our property.  Now a different company needs to be hired in order to clear it away.

We had a contract that they perform specific duties such as: mowing 2 to 3 inches grass height, weeding when needed, pruning, mowing retention pond 5 times a year and specifically just before July 4th, maintian irrigation, picking up trash and debris.  They constantly broke the contract by not doing the above until they had been called and requested them to do it several times.  I would never hire them again.
