We had branches that I couldn't reach and they had to get up and cut them up and chip them up. They did what we asked, so I had no problem there. They came late in the day and I felt like they just wanted to get it done. They were sort of rushed. The truck to put the wood chips in was full so they just left the wood chips with us. I felt that I didn't really get the service that I expected. From talking to him, I thought they were going to trim the trees up not just remove the branches that were broken and hanging there but that's all they did. I felt that if they had better supervision, I felt these were the worker bees but they didn't have anyone telling them what to do. They just did what they thought they could do to get done and go home to have a beer.

We met to discuss the scope of the work which was then done to our complete satisfaction.

It was a positive experience. They came out and gave me an estimate and I called them back a couple of days later before they came out and did the work. I recommend their responsibility. I asked them to work on the shrub that needed trimmed and there was no problem.

Mr. Lukens was professional and well versed in his field of work. His written report was submitted to our county permits department as the basis for a permit to allow the removal of certain trees which obstruct the view from the home site.

Could not be happier with the complete service. The work was professionally and carefully done. The crew was very courteous and skillful. On several occasions, they checked back with me to ensure that they were meeting my expectations. They carefully looked after the property and were careful with the project. The entire work area was thoroughly cleaned-up after the project. When asked to do some additional work, they were able to add it to the project and still complete on time. The owner came out and I followed him around as he told me what kind of trees we have and provided other informaiton. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I wish I would have written this review sooner so I could remember the details better. Summary is this: we were more than pleased with the work. Mr. Luken and his team are professionals and everything was done exactly as promised. They put orange cones over my sprinkler heads so they wouldn't damage them. I stopped by in the middle of the day to see how it was going and the guys working were friendly and stopped their work to tell me how it was going. One guy was WAY up in one of our maples (about 70 foot tall tree). They wood chipped all the limbs and cleaned up all debris. Pics attached of before, during, and after servoce. I just took the 'after" pics today, so the tree limbs are leafless (they were fully leaved when the work took place). I highly recommend this company.

Lukens Tree preservation responded promptly and professionally after I contacted them. I have decide to delay tree work for now so have not hired any of the firms I contacted.

I called the office and arranged for a time to get an estimate. I wasn't going to be home, but asked if they could give me an estimate anyway. No Problem. After receiving the estimate, I called and arranged a time for them to cut the tree down. Again, I was not going to be home during this project. I asked that they cut, shred and remove the smaller branches and leave the bigger pieces for my neighbor to use as fire wood. I also wanted them to grind out the stump. When I got home, the tree was gone, the wood was stacked up for my neighbor, the lawn was raked and all the smaller branches and leaves were gone. They did a beautiful job and I would highly recommend them!

I loved their professionalism. They are actual arborists whereas, often times with other tree companies it’s just one arborist and the rest are just kind of worker bees. These guys are all arborists and so they know what they’re doing.

They obviously knew their job and were fully educated about tree preservation and removal. We did not use them because their estimate was much higher than others. They also seemed to prefer to fix the tree we wanted removed rather than take it out, and we had already planted a new tree to take its place.

Lukens Tree Preservation Service performance exceeded expectations from start to finish. Mr. Lukens was easy to reach by phone and email. He arrived on site for the free estimate at the time upon which we agreed. A work date was established and the crew arrived punctually at the given time. The three man crew was professional in dress and manners. They were responsive to my requests to do additional trimming not in the original estimate. The crew was respectful and pleasant to have on the property. I was especially pleased that not one of our shrubs or flowers were damaged and the clean up was impeccable. In spite of the additional work I requested, the work was all done at the price of the original estimate. What a wonderful surprise! You bet I would hire this Company to do my tree work again.

He told me the day he would do the job, and when I got home from work that day I thought, at first glance, that he hadn't been able to make it. Then I noticed all the work was done...cypress trees gone, others trimmed...but there was no mess at all, in fact no other trace of his being there. Very tidy, professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him, and would not hesitate to hire him again.

They were on time for both the bid appointment and the job itself. They did a good job pruning it and placing the brace. They kept the area neat and clean and worked to make sure that the limbs did not land in my garden which was right next to the tree. They also chipped all the branches. I was very pleased with the job they did. I would hire them again.

They came and removed the trees. There weren’t any problems. They were always really responsive and we took care of everything long distance.

I called Greg and he responded quickly. He came to my house within a week of me contacting him and he looked at the trees on my property and gave me his assessment.

Fine, he came when he said he would, charged me what he quoted and I received helpful information.

I spent $1,200 on the job. They were very punctual. They had a good price. There were no complications. I would use them in the future.

They have done very well by me. They have been very helpful to me since I moved here about 10 years back. I live at the edge of a forest and have more tree issues than others and they have been tremendously helpful. Their goal is tree preservation if at all possible. They adopt a very progressive approach which I appreciate immensely.

Greg came out and worked within my budget, and gave me great advice. They showed up when they said they would, completed the job promptly and left the place clean and wonderful!

Great was patient, happy to provide explanations, and very educational re: helping us figure out how to maintain our trees. He also gave us a great "a la carte" estimate for individual tree maintenance. We will likely employ Greg to perform work in the future.

The team arrived as scheduled, did the work, left firewood as requested, and cleaned up extremely well. Several people in our area have used them and have had similarly excellent experiences.

Very smoothly. They arrived on time. They were organized and got to work quickly. They were careful not to damage my garden boxes or my fence both of which were quite close to the tree. The tree looks great and I have lots more sunshine on my garden. Clean up job was excellent.

They cut the tree down, ground the stump and roots, and chipped as much of the wood as they could leaving it in a pile in the designated area,and stacked the remaining wood neatly and out of the way. The owner did the job with an assistant. They were easy to schedule with, punctual, did a great job on the work. Their demeaner was professional but friendly. It is a small family business that I would recommend to anyone.

Greg gave me great advice and listened to my concerns regarding the long-term health of the trees on my property. He gave me a bid that involved several options from which I could choose. He was happy to do what I decided in the end, but gave good advice and provided alternatives. I was very happy with the pruning job that he and one other arborist did for my plum trees that had a bad case of witch's broom. At the end of the day, they looked like they had breathed in a huge breath of fresh air and were well balanced. I will definitely have Greg back to do work on my trees in the future.
