I had just moved my parent's grandfather clock to my home and in the process, the cables broke. I wanted to make sure nothing else had happened to it as well. He ordered the cables and came back to install them when they came in. After he completed the repairs, he took the time to teach me things about the clock that I didn't know. It was greatly appreciated!!!

Excellent. Technician got in touch the same day I posted (on a Sunday). He was able to work me into his schedule that same day. He kept me informed of his arrival time and was on time. He was knowledgeable, professional and answered my questions. He repaired my clock in a reasonable length of time and his price was also reasonable. My clock is running well and I'm am totally satisfied with this company. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

He arrived at the house a bit late, due to traffic, but he did call to advise of this. This is why I didn't downgrade him for punctuality. When he's on the road, he covers vast distances in a single day. He got right to work and thought he'd diagnosed the problems, but it turned out to be a bit more complicated. Nonetheless, he worked diligently and got both clocks back in service without having to take either of them away. His word on 1-year guaranteed work is solid--in the past we've had him back twice when the clocks had issues again after he'd worked on them and there was NO charge. Wow! This is quality.

He arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment (when does THAT happen these days?), came in and inspected the disassembled clock pieces, and then spread out a mover quilt and put the clock back together. He cleaned each piece before returning it into the body. Once he had put all the pieces back, the cleaned all the pieces of glass in the clock, as well. Finally, he tuned the chimes. The entire job was extremely professional, and he was very pleasant to have working in the house. He cleaned up the work environment before he left. We paid by check, and he told us we have a 1-year warranty on his work. I would recommend him to anyone in the western Washington area!

He came out to my house. The service was fine. He helped set up my clock, a grandfather clock. If I needed more clock help, I would call them.

Tim comes to the house to service and care for my regulator wall clock. He's prompt, knowledgeable, his costs are fair, he's incredibly gracious and wonderful to work with. I trust him implicitly.

Drove to Olympia with two windup clocks (one antique) that hadn't run
for years. Within minutes they were examined, diagnosed and corrective
action taken. One needed winding (!) and the pendulum was slightly off
on the other. The clocks were examined for other problems and
determined to be in great working condition. The processes took a bit
over 5 min and service was cordial, expert and responsive. Best of
all: no charge. A great experience.

Benjamin and Sons is the best repair shop! They fix everything up so nicely. If they don't have the parts, they know where to order them from. I have been pleased with their work.

The service that Tim with Benjamin and Sons provided went above and beyond what I had come to expect with other service providers. The kitchen clock repair was relatively straightforward but the long clock was a challenge to say the least. After working on the long clock it seemed to be operating properly. The surprise came a couple days later when the chime had not stayed in sync with the time. We scheduled another visit and after examining the clock closer Tim found that the arm that triggers the chime was not falling far enough to start the chime. It was not easy to see the problem and the fix was adjusting the pin that the trigger arm needed to activate the chime. The clock has been operating properly for about 2 weeks now and we are happy with the results of Tim's visits. The fact that the initial price discussed was the same, even though it required a follow up visit, was icing on the cake. We would recommend Benjamin and Sons in a heartbeat.
