"Tim went out and met with [member name removed] over her concern that she had a mouse getting in the attic and possibly there was a hole in the siding near the garage where this could be happening. [member name removed] agreed we would come and check for and patch the hole as needed, also she asked if the workers could check the roof vents and chimney flashing and seal anything as needed. Tim quoted her a bid of $300 for this work. Two workers were needed for this job as it is a two story house and the roof pitch is steep and one worker alone would not be safe. [member name removed] agreed to the price and wanted the work to be done. We sent two workers out on May 17th to do the work and then sent her a bill on May 20th for the agreed upon quote which was billed at $298.65 including the sales tax. We did not bill her an hourly rate as it was a bid job. [member name removed] called the office May 24th concerned that the work was possibly never done as she thought they were only there 15 mins and asked what our workers had turned in for hours, we said they were paid one hour each for the work. Tim asked the workers what work had been done and they said they covered a small hole where the flashing and siding came together near the garage. They also checked the vents and chimney to see if anything needed sealed. They said everything looked ok and that the two of them were on site for 1/2 hour, with travel to and from the job they were paid for one hour each. We feel we did what we agreed to do, [member name removed] did not pay the bill and we never pursued it as she seemed dissatisfied. After her posting on Angie's List Tim called her and officially waived the bill. There was no mention of any more mouse concerns."
The price was good also and I got the 30 year roof that I wanted. That was one of the reasons I went with them and also they sent out a very professional bid with his licenses, his insurance etc. It was a complete package and the price was not the cheapest, but they seemed the most professional.
He showed me the roofing material and how they would do it and when the weather permitted they did it, and they were done when they said they were going to be finished. They were very professional and the people that did the job were very meticulous and they cleaned up everything. It was cleaner when they left than when they first got here.
I will absolutely use them in the future.
