They work was good! They did a good job at a fairly decent rate.

They have their own crane for the work so no equipment rental was needed. The job was challenging as the tree was very close to the house. They were meticulous in the work and clean up. I highly recommend them.

Prompt estimate Monday, worked Tuesday morning. In and out with all their heavy equipment and 6 workers in a couple of hours. These are the same folks that removed a tree for me a couple of years ago. I highly recommend this group of professionals. As far as the price goes, all bonded, insured tree services are too expensive, however they have to pay for ridiculous government regulations, excessive taxes, heavy equipment, high maintenance, operating and labor costs to stay in business.

The team were excellent. Timely. Clear in their explanations of the work they proposed, kept me appraised throughout the job, and did an awesome clean-up afterwards.

Tree removal was satisfactory but communication leading up to it was poor. Asked me to get the city permit but I had to call them weekly for 3 weeks to get the safety mapping for the tree removal and they needed to reapply for permit themselves. It was just a very slow process, would just recommend to be very proactive in following up with them.

No contacted to date, so I guess they don't want my business. Well, I will never-ever use angie's list again due to this uncourteousness treatment

I used Angie's List to find a tree service to trim my trees. I called Archon since they had so many positive reviews and scheduled a consult. When Steve arrived he informed me right away that Archon was a tree service specializing in the trimming and removal of large trees and what I needed was a gardner that trimmed trees since mine are not too big. He was more than happy to quote me a price but felt it would be too cost prohibitive for what I needed. When I asked him if he had a referal he immediately provided me with the name of an associate that works on a smaller scale. While Archon did not perform the service, I appreciate the honesty of the arborist and the referal. If I need large tree service in the future I will definately call Archon first.

One of the best service experiences we've had from start to finish! The estimate was fair, the advice was sound. The estimator showed up exactly on time and provided a great walk through and thorough explanation of services. The schedule called with multiple options for date and time within hours. On the morning of the job, the estimator showed up at our doorstep because they couldn't get through to our phone, just to let us know what time the crew would arrive! The crew got right to work. They were polite and courteous as we went up and down the drive-way past their work multiple times. They were very careful of our surrounding outbuildings and landscaping (even moving a concrete bench out of the way, and replacing it when done). All the trees that were thinned look fantastic. All of the trees we asked to be removed were cleared away perfectly. The crew left our entire property looking better than it did before they started, cleaning up all of the debris from the ground and rooftops and even hauling away three large bags of yard waste we had sitting outside before they came! We would highly recommend Archon to friends and family and will use them again !

At our request he left the chipped wood in a pile in our driveway so we could spread it on paths later on. He cleaned up afterwards, did a professional job. The area receives more light, is attractive and safe now.

On the day the tree was to be cut down, no one called to let me know they would not be able to come due to another job running longer than expected. When called, a lady in the office said they would call back the next morning to reschedule. No one called. When called again, the lady said it would be over a month before Archon would be in my area again and I would have to wait. I wrote to the owner and the man who gave the estimate, and told them I was disappointed with the level of service provided so far and that since I was "bumped" I should be at the top of the to do list, not put on hold until it was convenient for them. I gave them my home and cell numbers and asked that they please call me. They never responded to my email or called me!! If you are looking for reliable tree service, I would not recommend this company! I ended up calling Larson Logging and Tree Service because I had also received a bid from them. They put me on their schedule and had the tree down three days after I called. When they were running a little late they called twice to let me know. They did an excellent job removing a very tall dead spruce. If you need tree service, call them instead.

The owner did come by and fix our gate. It was quite simple but we couldn't do it. We never did receive the additional discount. NOW...........I do believe that we got a fair price for the work done, but when you tell a customer that they are entitled to something, it is good customer service to honor that . I am a big believer in customer service, and I believe that because were were told we could receive it, we should have. We were given no explanation whatever. Aside from those two issues, the work they did on the trees was first rate. They had to bring in a crane and did it all without having to do heavy work in our yard. We had just had a new drainfield put in and didn't want any heavy equipment on it. So.....even though we had a couple of issues, the actual work was very good.

I had several large trees that needed thinning out. The estimate was very thorough saying exactly which trees and how much thinning would be done. He came the day before and marked out no parking areas for their equipment. On the day of service they arrived early, introduced the whole team (5 of them) and set to work about 8:30am. It was a major job and they worked in small teams on different trees. They were finished before 12 noon, and then did an extra limb when I said I didn't like the way it looked. Everything was done as I wanted and at the price quoted with efficient, friendly and thorough people. I am very pleased.

Great! They came with a team that trimmed, thinned, cleaned up, woodchipped and hauled off the debris. They also freely answered questions and advised me on maintaining a healthy tree. Very professional and timely, start to finish in 45 minutes.

The whole experience went better than expected. They were right on time in the morning. They brought their large boom truck and removed the tops of the trees with that. Then they would use the truck to tie onto the trunks and cut them and lay them down softly. All this caused minimal impact to my surrounding property. The guys climbing the trees were very efficient and precise. It was fun to watch how well the whole crew did their job. They worked very well together and each one was willing to do whatever needed to be done next to keep the job flowing. They arrived at around nine and were gone by five and there was no evidence they had been there other than all the trees down and the cut up tree trunks. Overall I am very pleased with the job they did and will definitely use them in the future.

The work has been scheduled for the 27th of Aug. I'll provide further feedback upon completion

We had a row of overgrown Cypress trees that needed to be trimmed.The arborist, Steve Cushing, came out and gave an estimate and discussed options for taking care of the trees (trimming vs removal).The bid was acceptable. We had one other estimate that was similiar but we chose Archon to do the work. The crew arrived on time on the designated day. They were thorough, cleaned up debris and were careful about not damaging surrounding plants. The foreman, Tim, communicated with us as the work progressed. They completed the work over 2 half days (afternnon then the next morning0,

I contacted Archon on the weekend via email. Brian, the President, responded immediately to let me know that he had received my inquiry and let me know that Heather would contact me on Monday to set up a time for an estimate. Sure enough, Monday came, and Heather contacted me to set up an appointment for the estimate. Steve was going to come. Steve came at the scheduled time, even a little early! He went through the yard with me and listened the work I proposed having done, responded to my questions about work I asked him for his opinion about, and described how the crews work and what fun it is to watch them work. He descibed the philosophy of the company and how hard-working the crew was. He gave me the insurance information of the company, along with the company bonding and business information, with the estimate so I could personally verify them with the various companies and agencies. The esitmate was accurate and reflected the work we discussed. We agreed on a date and time the crew would perform the work, and we discussed the payment terms. Everything was clear and easy. Steve was very personable, open, and receptive to answering my questions. The day of the tree service, the crew arrived eager to perform the work, and they were very personable. As I mentioned above, we went through the work site and confirmed the work they would be performing, and they even agreed to a few additional items that weren't discussed at the time of the estimate. They performed their work quickly and efficiently . The crews were coordinated and every man knew his role, and they coordinated their work. They worked continuously and got the job done promptly, and performed the work that was agreed to and more!!! They cleaned up the yard more than I would have expected. Great work. The trees look wonderful and they left the place looking better than they found it!!!! They are wonderful! I have shared their name with friends and would recommend them to anyone needing to have trees removed or thinned.

Very well, very safe, very professional, very timely. Got the job done in very little time, 2 hours. I do wish they had stacked the firewood in the driveway, but I did not ask them to do that. I would hire them again.

I was very much impressed with Steve and the approach he took in ensuring the heath of our trees. Although I expected an estimate on what would be done immediatelly, I received a consultation on the best approach for taking care of our trees. I look forward to working with Steve and Archon Tree Service next fall when the trimming/pruning will be performed.

They came out to see the trees I had. After coming out, he said it was not a good idea in his professional opinion since we had such older trees. We ended up not using the service. But the guy who came out was a great honest guy who was very trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Archon Tree Services is a first rate Tree Service. The staff and crew were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and the price was right. The job went very well. Thank you again Archon Tree Services. I will be sure and contact you if I have any issues with tress on my property.

My wife had previously hired Archon Tree Services while I was deployed to Iraq, and was very happy with that experience. (They removed a tree, and also performed extensive pruning of our large apple tree.) This January, a severe snow/ice/high wind storm struck our region, destroying or damaging thousands of trees. We called Archon immediately, assuming that there would be a long wait for them to get to us. To our pleasant surprise, we got a quick response, and a thorough and reasonable estimate. Their crew was onsite in approximately 10 days, and they completed the job in record time. (2 hours or so.) As before, all work was completed as promised, with absolutely no damage to the rest of our foliage, fences, or our neighbor's latticework. Clean-up was impeccable, with no trace left of the tree or other debris. The crew even cut two disks of wood from the beech tree's trunk, which a woodworker friend requested for making hand carved pens. (That was exceptionally courteous of the Archon crew!) We HIGHLY recommend Archon Tree Services to anyone living in their service area, whether for standard arborist missions, or dealing with storm damaged trees. They are first-class professionals.

Crew of 5 was hard working. I had a pile of trimings I had done and they ground them up no prob.
