Description of Work: Tree trimming.

Description of Work: We have used Archon for at least 20 years, and up until recently have been very happy with their services. Our disappointment is with their very poor responsiveness and punctuality/reliability. We've made appointments for estimates and to have services performed, primarily tree pruning. When we sought to have our front cherry tree pruned, we called Archon and requested an estimate. At least twice, we made appointments and the estimator either didn't show up, or showed up several hours after the appointment, and there was no notification from the estimator or the office. When we called to find out where the estimator was, the office manager (Jennifer) apologized, stated, "Oh, he had another appointment" or "He's not going to be able to make it today". When the estimator did finally show up for the 3rd appointment, we scheduled an appointment to have the work done. Now the crew failed to show...no notice...and a phone call to Jennifer produced similar excuses, and an offer to reschedule. When the crew eventually kept an appointment, they did good quality work, as usual. Today, we were scheduled for an estimate at 9:00 a.m. to have our apple tree pruned. Another no-show. We called the office, and Jennifer told my wife, "Oh, sorry, I spilled coffee on the post-it with your contact info; the estimator won't be coming until 3:30 this afternoon." We rearranged our plans, took our dog out for a walk, and returned to find a voicemail from Jennifer, advising that the estimator's ETA was going to be more like sometime after 4 p.m. This trend is leading us to reconsider using Archon for this and for future jobs. We're going to research alternatives. It's disappointing, considering our long and positive history with this company.

Description of Work: Archon cut down limbs from a huge fir in our backyard along with cleaning up some limbs on a few smaller firs. They also trimmed a pine we had in the front yard that was starting to grow out in the street. We were very satisfied with every aspect of their work and are getting ready to call on them again. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I had 3 HUGH Fir tree's removed in my backyard. Tree's were very close to many houses and fence's. ALL crew and Planner were EXTREMELY nice AND did a excellent job...I will recommend them to everyone who needs tree's removed! I even had all stumps grinded....GREAT JOB!!!!

Description of Work: We use Archon exclusively for all of our tree pruning and removal jobs. They are professional, highly competent (they don't ruin our trees!), and always do an excellent job of cleaning up. They cost a bit more, but it's worth it.

Description of Work: Cut trees on our property and true to his web site he spoke to our neighbors re limbing some of their trees to improve our view. They were most agreeable and I think part of the reason was that Brian had done some work for them in the past and they felt very comfortable with him. This was wonderful for us as we have just moved into the house and didn't know our neighbors. This was an excellent opportunity to met them as they are quite nice, and we improved our view.

Description of Work: They removed 4 trees. They ground the stumps and also wind sailed 3 trees.
