Description of Work: Removed all the trees blocking my view, as well as a large laurel bush belonging to a neighbour who said I could also have that removed. Also any of the neighbour's shrubbery that was hanging over my garden. They removed several large Douglas Fir branches brushing and laying on my roof, and another large hazel nut bush hanging over another roof. All cuttings that we agreed to have taken away were removed and chipped on site, and the area cleaned up. Not only did the couple who came to bid on the job arrive a little early, the crew who came to do the job also arrived early. That does not happen very often. I was impressed!

Description of Work: Within a few days of their looking over the job, and giving me a bid, the crew chipped 2 large piles of branches and bushes, and left the area |very clean. This job saved my husband and son from burning it all for days this fall. I have asthma and know the neighbors do not appreciate the smoke, either. We will call them again! We would not have found Archon without Angie's List. |

Description of Work: Removed a Madrona tree that overhung the house, and fir tree in the front easment. A crane was used to remove the trees. They cut up the Madrona into fire wood, and chipped the fir and excess wood. Bonds, LNI, and insurance was all current. Used Arcon before, and will use then again.

Description of Work: A large maple well over 100 years old was rotting from the inside and was situated next to powerlines. Archon brought in a big crane and safely cut the tree up into rounds for future splitting and shredded the rest, leaving it at my house at my request. They also pruned and layered my Tuliptree, a large sweetgum tree and another maple. Everyone was very professional, and tried to accommodate my wishes regarding how the work was done. They were prompt in arriving and they left my yard with very little impact of their presence. I would certainly recommend them and I plan to use them again. Their fee was initially higher than I thought it should be and higher than a competitors estimate. I talked about it with Brian and we negotiated a lower price that met my approval. They are not the cheapest but they certainly are worth the money that I spent.

Description of Work: They did a great work, but communication regarding work time starts lacking. Had to wait at house all day to find out they couldnt make the first day appointment. crane service had to be called in to complete the work, which the gentleman who gave the estimate said they would probably need to use for one of the trees. Need minor repair on driveway area were the crane was used. The price was good and the gentlemen did great work trimming the trees to take down. thanks

Description of Work: We needed to have several very large trees removed that were close to our house. The Archon crew showed up promptly and was very professional in their work. They were very safety conscience. They cleaned up the area afterwards, especially where they had to work from our neighbor's yards. We would use them again.

Description of Work: Had burned a line of 17 mature pyramid trees last July 4th. Called three service vendors. Archon's bid fell in the middle, but the Angie's list rating tipped the scales in their favor. Vendor arrived on the appointed date and time. Crew began work immediately. They finished same day and cleaned up the work area very nicely. We noticed the replacement trees did not cover all the original ground. Archon agreed this was a misunderstanding and is purchasing and planting the additional trees at no cost to me.

Description of Work: Heather called me to explain that I live outside their normal service area. She stated they would be happy to give me an estimate. But with the travel time involved it would be very expensive for them to provide service. She explained that I should be able to get a refund. Heather contacted her estimator, Steve and Steven sent me the name of a tree service close to my house. I was very appreciative of Heather being so honest and helping me to find another company to use.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for tree services. When I contacted them to schedule the appointment, they advised me that my job was very small and that it would be in my better interest to hire a smaller company. They were very honest and I appreciated that.

Description of Work: I hired them for tree and stump removal. The work turned out fine. The work was satisfactory and completed in a timely matter. I would use them again.

Description of Work: We had a very large Maple tree fall @ 4:45AM and completely block our private road.Called Archon and Steve was there by 8:30AM to evaluate the situation.Brian showed up with his large crane and crew by 10:45AM and our road was made passable again by 3PM. They returned to clean up and take down the large snag which left a safe and good looking area. Our experience was handled professionally and quickly without any hassles or price gouging due to the emergency situation. These guys know their stuff!
