 + -1 moreTom came over and did a quote for us. He was the 5th contractor we had met up with. We wanted to interview at least 5 before picking. We chose tom because he was knowledgeable, and seemed straight forward with us. He and his crew have been amazing. Very respectful in our home, personable, and hard working. We love the work they have done for us so far. I would highly recommend tom and his team.
Description of Work: We had Tom and his team replace our walls in the kitchen, replace the sub floors that were damaged during a leak, put in new cabinets, heated floors, new tile, new doors, and lay down nail in bamboo flooring in dining room, living, room and hallway. They are waiting on our counters to come in before finishing up. They have the appliances to install and they will be done.

 + -1 moreIf we had been paying attention from the beginning, we would have known this was not going to end well. Just getting the initial bid was an adventure in disorder and confusion but he had done good work on the house prior to our buying it. After a long talk with him about the importance of reliability and keeping commitments, we elected to use him. We set two appointments to meet him at the job site and get final measurements. The first time, the date and time were confirmed as I was on the road to meet him. He didn't show up because he had gotten the date wrong and blamed a bad phone connection when we talked to confirm. The appointment was rescheduled and again I made the 1 1/2 hour drive only to be stood up again. There was not even a phone call so say he was running late or email to suggest rescheduling. Nothing. He may do good work, we'll never know. We will not be using or recommending Tom Lerch or Nautilus Construction
Description of Work: We got three estimates for adding windows to our living room and although Tom at Nautilus was not the lowest one, the neighbors had highly recommended him.
