 + -1 moreI have called several times and left multiple messages that my furnace isn't heating my house and we're just sitting in the cold wondering when we are going to hear from these people. They installed our furnace a few years ago and everyone we have had come check it out says to have Island heating come out to troubleshoot it since it appears everything else is working fine and they are the exclusive Bryant brand dealer in town. How many nights does my family have to sit in the cold while they decide when they feel like responding to me? These people do not deserve your business, and if you are looking for someone to install your furnace or other HVAC need, DON"T call these people. When you need help the most they will not be there for you.
Description of Work: installed my furnace years ago. Now i needed them to fix it and they are no where to be found

 + -1 moreThey were good. They are $85 an hour, so that's high. They were pretty responsive. They were efficient and got the job done. It was a challenge, but they got to the bottom of the problem. They were nice, very nice.
Description of Work: We just had our furnace fixed. They repaired a wall heater / gas heater that was not working. They got it to work.

Description of Work: It took several weeks and repeated phone calls to get a response. They did come quite promptly after finally answering my phone calls. The work was done quickly and so far seems to be ok. I indicated I would use them again only because they are they are the only firm in this area that does the type of repair that I needed.

Description of Work: I have called Island Heating twice when my furnace quit working. They have been great to work with, and even tried to fix the problem over the phone before coming out for no charge. Both times they arrived, fixed the problem quickly for very reasonable prices. I would recommend Island Heating for furnace repair.

 + -1 moreOverall I'm satisfied with the work performed, the ducting and two new heat registers were done in one day and professionally. The work on the furnace has been frustrating, they have came to my home three times and I don't think the transformer really needed to be changed but the tech I belive felt like he needed to do something because the furnace kept kicking off and they had to return several times. It then failed on a holiday weekend and they didn't have any techs to send to my home but Greg who was at the office gave me instructions on how to change the filter and oil nozzle so I could get the furnace going on that cold weekend. I was a jet mechanic so I felt I had the knowledge to get it fixed and did. I now do my own maintenance on this furnace but they also provide me info when I ask and I would use them if I thought it was to complicated for me to do.
Description of Work: I had my oil furnace worked on several times because the circuit breaker was popping. It was worked on about 3 different times by Island heating and they also installed additional heating ducts in my master bedroom. The oil nozzle and filter was changed twice on two occasions and the third visit they changed a transformer.
