FRONTIER BUILDING SUPPLY- OAK HARBOR

Description of Work: Butch Roberts and his assistant Jennifer Lamb and a few others assisted us over 20 visits over 5 months to buy lumber and other materials including a custom beam for building a two-car carport. They helped me read my County-Approved drawing and plans to order the best and cost-effective materials from the footings to the roofing materials. I got a great education on materials from the whole staff, and was able to return unused material 3 times at the end of the project. ALL large material orders were delivered promptly for FREE. When the materials called out weren't stocked at Frontier, they also knew whether a nearby big box store had it in that grade of wood, for example, or whether to order a grade higher or lower for my purpose. They could always explain these nuances to me, the building novice, buying for my husband and his friend, the actual builders. I even became knowledgeable enough to communicate with the Building Inspector!
