Excellent. Installer was very meticulous and professional.

There are a few pieces of my experience I would like to comment on. First, my initial experience with this flooring warehouse was really good. The staff was really good and provided so much helpful information about carpets that I left there way smarter then when I came in. This left me with a great impression but at the time I wasn't ready to buy. Later, when the budget made sense I went back and ordered some carpet from them. Because they are a small local place they required a deposit to do the initial measurement for rooms that I wanted done. The cost was $50 dollars before tax which i think is a little excessive. This does go to the whole job so I thought it was okay, but I would caution someone who is unsure about the job to maybe look somewhere else to get measurements. The individual did not give us a time that he would show up and promised to call before he stopped by. Again, this is strange for a professional business and smacks of a disorganization that would usually turn me away from contracting through any place. He called about 20 minutes prior to arriving and we had to what an awfully long time because his arrival window was quite large. However, when he arrived, he was quick and professional. The next part of this transaction involved trying to pay for the carpet and half the service. The store had the hardest time providing me an invoice of the actual total for the carpet and install. This, again, worried me but my wife paid regardless and despite multiple attempts to get the invoice was not provided a copy until final payment. This has to be the lowest point for this business and should be improved in the future. I think it is a lack of organization within the business. The day of the install arrives and even though I am not present was done very well with a very good contractor. This was the highlight of the transaction and is why I would consider going back to buy carpet from this business again. Even though it took about six hours for two rooms (one is about 350 sqft), I am very happy. The carpet is of a quality that I expect at the price point we paid so i have no complaints. The final payment process, again, illustrated how disorganized this company is. I had to finish paying for services rendered but I didn't receive a call about how to do that until two weeks after the installation. I assumed they would use the same credit card we had payed for the initial deposit. They said that they destroyed the credit card number for credit protection so they couldn't do that, which is good I suppose. I returned to the store to finish paying and they had a hard time finding my file and then I was finally showed an invoice which indicated the final cost. Overall, this is a local business that could definitely use a way to organize their clients a bit more effectively, but otherwise I am quite happy and the price was great. I recommend this company.
