iThis experience seemed to start off o.k. Our Mortgage Broker was friendly and seemed helpful. After the process was well underway, she lost documents we sent, seemed to forget conversations we had, didn't order the appraisal when we requested and constantly seemed stressed. During our final walk-through I learned that she treated my agent and the sellers agent in a very unfriendly way. I was embarrassed that I had selected this company. Not a great place to be in. I have purchased two other homes and never had such a frustrating experience. Many of our emails start off with us forwarding the email we sent with the original submission of an item. By the time we realized things were not going well and getting worse, it was too late to switch mortgage companies - without significantly holding up closing. Buying a new home is stressful enough and this broker made it ten times more stressful. The broker's boss and others at the company tried hard to communicate more effectively, but the broker should have been removed from the account. We still had to continue to include this broker and again have WAY more communication with this person than we needed or wanted. We should have been paid to take out this loan - we worked hard enough ourselves to make it happen!
