They tested and did the work. Excellent, I was there, the guy explained what he was going to do, what he did and gave me pointers on how to finish the job. One thing they don't do is, they tore out some plaster board and the wall supports behind it. They do not repair, so he gave me some pointers on how to do that.

Fine, at first.  Peter Kakoczky, the sales rep. is the one who takes the call and answers questions, comes out to your residence and takes measurements.  The supposition was Mold Solutions does the work.  Peter at no time said that they hire outside of their company.  So horrified when I received a call from Clean Crawls, oh, and watch out for this company.  I will write up a horrible experience that I had with their lead evaluator, Chris Strovas, as I had called and obtained a few estimates for the attic.  It is worth mentioning here as a shoddy company as Clean Crawls is doing business with Mold Solutions, you can imagine the shock when Clean Crawls called me and said they would be coming out on such and such dates to begin removing the insulation, etc.  I had already had Clean Crawls give me an estimate which was $ 8,498.60.  And when Chris S. came down from the attic and began showing me cell phone pictures that he said he, allegedly, took, my eyes were in disbelief!  The pictures he showed me were beams and wood COVERED in mold.  I knew right then those were NOT pictures from my attic!  I had already seen the pictures from the Inspector who had taken pictures of the small areas of mold in my attic, and these pictures of absolute complete saturated beams and walls in mold were NOT mine.  I called him on it and immediately he became defensive, so I knew that I was NOT hiring Clean Crawls.  I did interview one more mold remediation company, they came in with a high estimate, so I went with Peter's company, Mold Solutions, which their estimate was in the middle.  A light fixture came down while Clean Crawls was scraping the attic floor, in which they said they would cover the cost, as it smashed to smithereens.  The part of the job that Mold Solutions ended up doing was spraying the mold and beams, walls, etc.  Clean Crawls were there for removal of the insulation, and blowing it back in.  In which, C.C. could not complete the insulation blow-in as the measurements that Peter took came up short, from what C.C. said.  With several phone calls being made to find out WHEN they were coming back to complete the job.  They finally came back after a couple of days and finished the job.  We were very frustrated with the underhandedness of not telling us that Mold Solutions sub-contracted out to Clean Crawls.  We were very unhappy when we spoke to Peter about that and do you know what his reply was: You didn't ask.  Can you believe the audacity and smugness of a representative of a company?  They are handling thousands of your dollars, and you are asking for complete disclosure, no matter what your company does or does not do!  It is worth knowing that while researching Mold Remediation we discovered that there is no regulation to this industry, at least in WA state.  The outcome, is that you do not know what really needs to be done in your attic, and if it is industry standard.  Every company that we looked at had a different approach and each said theirs was best.  I plan on calling the Attorney General's office, explaining in detail what took place, and asking them to look into this industry and have guidelines and standards set in place to protect the consumer.  Seriously, buyer beware.  When all was said and done, Peter came for his money and ran.
