Casual Dining Barstools and Dinettes

I visited this showroom looking for barstools for a billiard's room one Sunday afternoon. Lee (the owner) was very helpful and after looking at several stools, directed me toward some stools made by a small manufacturer out of California. Being 6'4", the first thing I notice after sitting in the chair was that the arm rest was high enough that I could very comfortably rest my elbows on them. I found the stools to be well constructed with quite a bit of attention paid to details (joints fit tightly, no sway or creaking, matching kick plates, etc.). I explained to Lee that my biggest constraint was that I needed them within 4 weeks. He said that the individual who makes the chairs often has unfinished chairs in his inventory and that it would likely only take 2 weeks to get them to me (most other stores quoted me 4 to 6 weeks). I decided to buy 5 stools, 2 with arms and 3 without. Lee called me 2 days later to confirm the order and the time frame he quoted me. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Lee the following week that the barstools had arrived at his shop and were ready for pickup - from order placement to delivery: less than 2 weeks! Having used them for over a month now, I'm very please with quality and construction. In my opinion, the chairs are a beautiful blend of craftsmanship and subtle artistry - with a price point that aligns with the craftsmanship rather than the high-priced barstools designed by "artists". It was a pleasure working with Lee and I've already recommended his store to several friends who enjoyed the look and comfort of the stools.
