Maverick came to look at our roof in a timely manor. There are many folks with roof damage due to snow. He was able to replace the roof while we were on vacation. So far it looks good ( hasnâ t rained yet) . His price was a little less then the other estimate we got.

The service was something that neither I or my husband would have been able to do even though the project was simple. It involved working from a long ladder up 3 stories. He installed wire screens across the vent holes for the attic.

Maverick, the sole proprietor of Simpleton Siding & Services, completed an approximately 700 square foot replacement of weathered wood shingle panels on 3 gables of my home with Hardie Shingle Siding, a fiber-cement material. The job was essentially all ladder work involving both tear down and installation. During my contractor selection discussion with Maverick, he talked about his experience installing Hardie products, and provided enough details that I was convinced he had the necessary qualifications, experience, and abilities to do the job. I was not disappointed. Maverick is a confident, motivated person who is easy to work with. He was a very hard worker for this job which was physically demanding due to all the ladder climbs. We agreed to a schedule (work days and hours) and he stayed with our agreement. He ordered sufficient material to complete the job, and minimized wastage in a job requiring an extensive number of precision cuts. He completed the job in his estimated number of work days; his workmanship was very good. He did a very good job keeping the job site clean, at the end of each day, and between the tear down and installation phases for each gable. Maverick’s flat fee was well below bids I received from two other licensed contractors. I am very happy with Maverick’s end result and with his contract price. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Maverick to anyone considering a siding replacement.

Maverick was very personable and professional. He located 2 potential areas that may have caused our slow leak along the apex of our roof. He also notices an area where Flickers had destroyed and installed new shingles. I would hire him for all my roofing and siding needs in the future.

The business owner, Maverick, carefully explained each step of the process, cleaned up meticulously, and kept me posted about progress every day. He takes pride in his work, and takes customer relations very seriously. I felt, throughout the process, that I was dealing with a competent, very pleasant, very honest professional. Last, and certainly not least, his bid was significantly lower than others that I received. A great job at a great price, with the work done by a very pleasant contractor who was easy to communicate with...not sure what more one could ask for!
