I live in the hill country south of Mt. Spokane. I have my own private ½ mile gravel road that goes from the county road to my house. The road was developing a soft spot at a switchback point causing severe rutting and gouges in the road. I had a couple of "dirt guys" come and diagnose the problem and give estimates. Clay Roles (who is BEARS backhoe), took the time to figure out what the underlying problem was and develop a logical and effective approach to solving it. He showed up when he said he would. He brought a mini excavator to do the job (the perfect equipment choice), dug 150' feet long 6 feet deep trenches as promised. Lined the trenches with heavy mill plastic (as promised), installed the appropriate heavy gauge drain piping, and filled the trenches with four dump truck loads of gravel (which he ordered and coordinated). He disposed of the excess dirt by widening the turn and cleaned up the road to better than new. All within the timeframe estimated at the agreed to price. I've had lots of experience dealing with duty guys, and Clay is a professional, who does what he says he will, at the agreed to price (not cheap but fair), and in the time frame agreed to. Trust me, that is not at all the usual ways this works.
Description of Work: Installed 160 feet of drain tile on my road
