Urbizo Brothers replaced the roof on my residence as well as a rental property. The price was competitive and they did the job well. The owners and crew are nice people to work with.

Quality of work is very good and price competitive. Communications could be better, other than that from the time work started until completion, it was accomplished in a competent and timely manner. There was a gap between the time work was completed until a correct invoice was submitted and then the contractor seemed to have and undue urgency to get paid.

Urbizo Brothers are certified CertainTeed installers and charge less than other companies so certified. They were very responsive and accommodated all of my requests. Their crew was professional and completed the job on schedule.

Excellent. I would definitely hire again. Beautiful work. Prompt responses from the company, timely, short wait time for completion. Very courteous and respectful workers. No complaints at all.

They basically completed a tear off and installed underlayment flashing and roofing 22 or 23 squares in one day, and to come out next day for a little touch up and cleaning. had some little bits of plastic in yard but that was no big deal.

They did a really good job on our roof. We didn't have to pay for it because it was under warranty. Home Depot actually paid for the work.

Maros was responsive (returned my call within two hours and came out the very next day), punctual (showed up 10 minutes early), thorough (took pictures of the problem he found on the roof), and professional (made the repair on the spot).
It was a refreshingly positive experience with a local roofing company!

We are 110% satisfied with our experience with Urbizo Bros. Roofing. We got 2 other bids from other companies, both asking $2,000-3,500 more and both asked for a third down, a third mid-job and the final third upon completion. Urbizo Bros. did not ask for a cent until days after final job was complete- in fact, we offered many times to make a down payment but they refused! They also replaced the roof on our small shed for no extra cost, plus the bid included new gutters! Most roofers would quote that separately. Besides the price being so fair, the workmanship was superb! The crew of 5-6 finished full teardown and new underlayment and shingles, flashing etc. in one day!! We came home from work at 6 pm to find a beautiful new roof and not a single nail, remnant that any repair had been made. Plus, when my husband mentioned that he would be going out of town, they squeezed us in a week before originally scheduled! Wow, I cannot think of a negative thing to say about these guys!

We used the Urbizo Brothers to reroof our home and garage and were very happy with their work. They are very professional and prompt. They have done roofing for my parents and sister and her husband too. We all have been very happy with Urbizo Brothers and recommend them highly.
They did a very good job with cleanup as well. My yard and deck looked great after the job was completed. They even went over my deck with a magnet to check for dropped nails!

The roofing crew performed the job exactly to our specifications. Their bid was the lowest of the 6 bids that we obtained. They were professional, knowledgeable, timely, meticulous, efficient, courteous and respectful of our privacy. We now have a solid, beautiful new roof. We would gladly recommend them to anyone. They are good people and great craftsmen.

Urbizo Brothers were the low bidder on our roofing project, coming in about $4000 less than the highest bidder. Because we were having our roof done in December, we understod that start date had to be flexible.The first two dates had to be pushed back because of heavy rain but, when it appeared that there was a 4-day window of clear weather coming, Maros Urbizo called to confirm that his crew would arrive on Thurs AM to start work. They arrived promptly at 8am, as promised. Before the work started, the crew moved some container gardens out of harms way and checked with me about any special plants or areas of concern. It was a big crew, 8 or 9 young men and they worked quickly and efficiently, despite the freezing temperature. They surrounding the base of the house and any landscaping with tarps, set up ladders and started on the tear off immediately. Tear off and clean up took most of the first As one crew was installing the underlining and replacing one section of plywood (we had authorized replacement of up to 2 without our okay), another group was gathering up the debris and putting it in the back of their dump truck. Roofing materials were delivered early the second morning and installation began immediately.Installation went smoothly. They used nail guns rather than staples and observed all manufacturers requirements. When they completed installation, they performed a final clean-up of the grounds. They weren't able to complete that before dark but Maros and a helper came back the next day and finished the clean-up, including using a magnet to scan the grounds for lost nails or other metals and picking up many tiny shreds of the shingle wrapper. Every member of the crew was pleasant and friendly but also focused on their work. During their lunch break, they asked if we'd mind if they used some of our lawn chairs to sit in a sunny area and I was happy to agree. Maros himself was a delight, quiet but very pleasant and very concerned with customer satisfaction. We are completely happy with the quality and speed of the work and would gladly have Urbizo Brothers back to any roofing needs or refer them to others. I've heard horror stories from others about their experiences with some of the better known roofers and was delighted that our experience was so different. We have no complaints about the crew, their attention to detail, their work ethic or the costs of the project and would happily recommend Urbizo Brothers to other Angie;s List members. Update: 15 months later, we are still delighted with the quality of the work. The winter of 2011-2012 tested many a roof but not ours. No leaks, no problems, zero reasons for concern.
