We met Don when we did a remodel on our house about 6 years ago, and called him back when we needed some insurance work done along with tying in some new wood flooring. Ended up adding stairs into the quote, and we were not disappointed. His work is beautiful. He doesn't cut corners and works his tail off to make sure everything is done to perfection. Hard to find contractors these days that live up to the hype, but Don does. He's extremely respectful of your time & your house, leaves everything in order and communicates to the fullest so you're never left wondering what's next or when something will happen. His work ethic is amazing and his craftmanship is top notch - and his prices are on point. If you need your floors done just CALL DON!

oDon is amazing; starts early, works hard, pays attention to detail and does the job right.  For example Don recommended that we solidify the existing sub-floor with 1/2" plywood.  The plywood was stapled down with heavy duty staples every inch along the plywood seams and over the floor joists resulting in a floor base that was rock solid.  After the seamless installation of the hardwood the floor was even more solid.  He has the best tools for his trade, for example he used a vacuum with a filter that collects 100% of wood dust after sanding.  Don will not take short cuts, he installed the floor as if it were his own home.  We are extremely pleased with Don's work ethic and professionalism.  He may not be the cheapest, but you will be extremely pleased with your floor.  Plan early as we had to wait 2 months as his calendar is full,

Don Kennedy came well recommended, and his work and manner only enhanced his reputation. He
skillfully blended a floor from 1937 to an addition dated 1994, and one section
flows evenly to the next. The dark walnut stain looks uniform throughout the
house plus Don replaced boards, tightened joints, refurbished a badly sun
damaged area, and added molding to the hearth. Many times I’ve walked the floor
in my bare feet, and the finish is smooth as ice. His cleanup was spotless, and
there was not a speck of sawdust in any cabinet or drawer. And, he gave us two
quarts of his recommended floor cleaner and a mop to care for our floors. Talking
and working with Don is a most pleasant experience. He’s on time and on bid.
