About us

Owner and President Ron Haider has over 25 years experience in the roofing and construction business. Our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations and to grow our company through our reputation. The Remodeling Bid Process: Ron Haider meets with all of remodeling customers initially, and will discuss with you the particular requirements for your remodeling job. After the initial meeting, Ron will present a bid and a contract for you to review after explaining all product options and job site considerations. The Roofing Bid Process: Haider Construction bids on a project only after we have had a chance to visit your home and meet with you personally. Unlike some roofing companies that may present you with a “drive by” bid. we insist on precisely measuring the job, and then meeting with you face to face to discuss your needs and expectations for the project. We present our customers with a thorough evaluation of your roofing needs. We take that initial bid meeting as our opportunity to educate you about the many roofing choices, colors and materials available to you. Paul Lehman, our Roofing Sales Manager, has over 30 years experience in the industry. Paul offers comprehensive knowledge of roofing product options and excellent sales service, from the bidding process to completion of your roofing job. Additional email- [email protected]. Roof Modification; required framing, connecting exhausts to roof vents, painting and roofing. Cost: 22,775 dollars From the end of November 2019 through March 2020 (expected 2 to 4 weeks, but end up taking 4 months). Except for the final roofing, the whole project was done by a father and his son (who was just learning) without supervisions. They came with a very old sedan (late 90s model?) which broke down twice during the project. No company logo was on the car. They did not bring their own ladders (as a roofer??) and used the ladder I bought from Goodwill throughout the project. The head man came here once (8 AM on Jan 7, 2020) because of my complaints. There was no inspection when it was completed. In January 2021, I found mold and blackened plywood and one of the exhaust connections fell on the floor. After long arguments, the problems were taken care of (?) in April, 2021. This is his email on 2021 03 16: “…...Then look at it in three years and if there are any failures then you would still be under warranty and we would redo it. I think what we have proposed will work, but if it does not you would still be covered.” On October 30th 2021, I went up to my attic again after long heavy raining. 3 of the vent connections were disconnected. There is possible leaking from a vent. I do not know how long this has been going on. All info was sent to Ron, the owner. I called him, before I could explain what happened, he accused me of having another contractor involved in this matter. BTW, I do not and did not have another contractor involved. He did not want to listen to me, cutting me off and telling me to sue him and then he hanged up on me. All I can say is that he is a very rude and unprofessional business man. Here were some of the comments he sent me in the past. 2021 03 13 Quote “Gaps??? So what. It is framing and makes no difference. You know nothing about construction.” 2021 03 13 How many inspections do you want on should we do on a small $20,00 No more comments, but JUDGE THIS by YOURSELF!!!

The price was fair for the work preformed. Their timeline slipped from what was promised and little communication occurred from them without me calling to find out why they didn't show. I had other work scheduled to follow the roof and this was held up. Outside of the communication issue the work was excellent and the city inspector commented on its quality.
Response from Haider Construction
"The customer was a pleasure to work with. We were a day late but we honestly thought that we would be able to make it that day. However, the previous job did not get done due to issues of dry-rot that needed to b repaired. We will never leave a job start another one. That day we were hoping to get the job started but just a little later in the day. When we saw that this was not going to happen, we intended to call the home owner, but he called first. We always tell people that the date that we give people for a start date is only a"target". Depending on circumstances or weather, we can be a day or two late or early. It is our policy to let the home owner know. In this case, we should have let the home owner know the day before that we might be a day late even though we thought that we would make it that day. It was ok, except that they never did get here before 10. The roofing was suppose to be delivered on Tuesday, except they were not really for it to be put on the roof, so it sat for a day, then they had to carry it on the roof. The last day, they were here almost 11 hours. The group just didn't seem to have everything together. The last day they seemed to be hurried. I don't think I would go with them again. We didn't check other companies out. So before you go with these guys, check out other places. Please read the contract, as it states they are not responsible for items falling off your walls, as this does shake things up. I didn't read it and had a few things break. I wasn't all that pleased with them. As I stated, we didn't go to other companies, so not sure not the price.
Response from Haider Construction
"The reason the guys started later is that Arlington was far from our home base. Yes, they were not quite ready for the delivery but they loaded it on the roof themselves and there was no extra charge for this. I do not see why this is a problem. The reason why they were at the job almost 11 hours the last day is because they were trying to get the job done so they could avoid long travel the next day and start another job the next day and get the job done for the customer. Most customers would complement such dedication. The reason why we state in the contract that we are not responsible for items falling from the wall is that we are doing our due diligence! When a roof is being removed, it can cause vibration and this is not avoidable. This is why we let customers know ahead of time that they should take down anything of value that may not be hung really well (or sitting on the edge of a shelf). When Paul goes thru the contract he always points this out so people can protect any potential problems. I would say that notifying customers beforehand is good professionalism. Ron Haider"

We are satisfied with the quality, workmanship and the 10 year warranty that Haider Construction provided on the installation of our roofing job. We chose a GAF product and decided No Extended Warranty at point of sale. Later we decided to add an extended warranty and were told we could not because it was not a Certainteed product. While disappointed, we were hopeful that Haider would take our feedback and tell future clients that if they choose a product other than Certainteed they would not be able to add an extended warranty later. Our biggest disappointment (and reason for the score we are giving Haider) occurred after installation. Our roof was installed on 6/22 and the inspection of the job by the project manager Cipriano was left on our doorstep on 7/19 (which I understood to be Haider signing off that the job was complete per the specs and requirements of the contract). Never did I get the chance to meet Cipriano who was in charge of my roofing project or ask him any questions regarding the roof as I found out from Ron Haider, the owner, that they "are really busy". Two days later on 7/21 I am being threatened that a lien will be placed on my home, my file will be sent to collections, additional fees will be added and a conversation to coordinate payment could not be had as Ron Haider purposefully hung up on me during a conversation in which he also stated " I don't care" when I said I still had questions on my job. He hung up on me after he told me his company has great customer service. I am still baffled by the email communications, the phone conversations, and the unprofessionalism of the owner when I was trying to understand and clarify details on my roofing project due to my lack of understanding of the roofing industry and the large amount of money being spent on the project. If you want the chance to ask questions, Google will be the only source you can depend on. I turned to Ron as a source of information hoping to help me understand and put me at ease however he did just the opposite. Needless to say we are 100% disappointed in the customer service of the owner Ron Haider.
Response from Haider Construction
"Here is the real story: Haider Construction offers extended warranties on CertainTeed roofing products. We can do this because we a designated Selection Shingle Company. We only offer the extended warrantiesfrom the manufacturer on CertainTeed products. When the roofing salesperson, Paul Lehman went thru the options with the client while they were signing up, they chose not to go with the extended warranty from CertainTeed. After this they asked Paul if they could go with a GAF product and he said yes. We warranty all compositon products against leaking for a period of 10 years. He found no need to explain that we cannot offer the same extended warranty on GAF products since they had already declined the extended warranty in the first [Member Information Removed]. I did get frustrated after explaining this to the home owner multiple times. The crew that did the job was lead by a roofer that has been with me for over 20 years. It was in the summer and Cipriano had failed to leave a door hanger on the door when the job was done. At this time of year we may be doing 5 or 6 jobs at a any given time. Our most experienced roofer was the crew chief on the job. We invoiced the job immediately after it was completed. We take no money down on our residential roofing projects but we expect full payment when the job is completed. The reason why I threatened to lien the property is because it had been a month since we sent an invoice. WE had already paid all our materials. labor, and dumping costs. After she protested that no one had "checked on the work" a month later. I sent Cipriano out there and he inspected the roof and left an inspection card. Remember that the job was under warranty from Haider for a period of 10 years. I was of the opinion that they were just avoiding payment. I will also note that we have not received any calls since we did the roof two years ago with any issues of leaking. This is because we did a great job. Ron Haider"

This is the absolute best company. We were so happy with every aspect of the roofing job Haider did for us. They are busy, so you have to be patient about getting them to respond to initial calls, but once they do, they are very timely and do everything they say they will do. Hire them!

The price they quoted was very reasonable. They kept the job site clean for the 3 days that they were at the house. The initial consultation was informative, and the end product looks great.

Once I was able to get Ron to respond to my calls and emails...the work was estimated in a timely fashion and expertly done. We were very, very happy with the quality of work and the extra hours it took to be ready for a large gathering at our home. I would hire them again.

They were good. They did a good job. They made one mistake so they came back and fixed it, and everything was fine. They were honest, professional, very straightforward, and easy to deal with. I thought it was a good and competitive price.

I contacted Haider Construction for an estimate to replace the old roof on my 1800 sq. ft. house. I talked to Ron and was told he would have his estimator call me to set up an appointment. Ron called me within the hour and came out the same day to give me an estimate. Ron was very professional and took time to answer all my questions and scheduled a start date. The estimate was a little higher than the other ones, but I decided to go with Haider because of their professionalism. I was not disappointed! The day before the work started, a huge dumpster was delivered and the crew arrived on time the next morning. The crew was efficient and worked a full day completing the job on time. The dumpster was removed the next day. I would not hesitate to use Haider Construction again.

Haider Construction was by far and away the most professional of the five contractors we had bid on the job. They were the only one to come out and sit down and review all the available options that we needed to consider. They were to only ones to provide a detailed, written quote, professionally prepared as opposed to the handwritten scribbles from all of the others. Their price was very competitive.

All this would be just window dressing, had the installation not gone extremely well. The crews were professional, polite and always kept us informed as to their progress. Despite fighting weather issues, they started and completed the job on time, and did a great job with the cleanup.

The end result is that we have a very good looking roof that should last many, many years.

Our previous experience with having a roof replaced was not nearly good as was this experience. They are most highly recommended

They have been wonderful to work with - hard workers and trustworthy. They have been up front with us about everything and kept us updated on progress. Receptive to changes during the process. As far as I can tell, they do high-quality work. Ron Haider and Pat Sullivan have been great.

Overall the workmen did a good job. However it did take longer than anticipated . One of the men said there were mice in the attic, but seemed to think it was no big deal. I plan to have it checked later.
