The initial work done was pretty ok. The major complaint is about communication. 1) Repetitively no call back was received even though we left voicemails. 2) the crew did not notify us when work was finished (2 times) even though specifically asked for (then try to leave voicemails with questions, there is no return call (see issue-1). 3) when we were told that the crew actually rang the doorbell, this was definitely not the case as we work in office next to the front-door. How does that work? Proper communication is important to us; as such cannot go higher than a C. Would not hire again, even though the final product (gutter install) was to our satisfaction.

Work entailed removing existing gutters and installing new ones. This was done after our roofing contractor had finished. I requested a couple changes from the existing gutter configuration which Gutter King accomplished. Job site was picked up and thoroughly cleaned after job completion. Very pleased with their performance.

In retrospect, I should have insisted that we meet in person to discuss what the problem was, but after talking on the phone I was assured that they understood the problem. They did the work when I was not home and upon receiving the bill, I went up on the roof to ensure that the work was done correctly. While they did install larger scuppers, they did not fix the primary problem which was that the opening in the wall that allows the water to flow into the scupper is not fully enclosed allowing water to flow into the walls of the house. I contacted them to explain the problem and we played a bit of phone tag as I was on a 2 week vacation with limited contactability. When I returned I actually took a video explaining the problem, and emailed it in. I also left a phone message, but never heard back. I gave up and paid for the work they did, but now have to find another company to fix the rest of the problem. They seem really nice, but I think they may be over extended.

Install was completed incorrectly based on contract scope. A year passed before they came back to evaluate. When they did they claimed conditions on my house prevented installing per contract. Installers never asked me about this. Have spent hours of my time trying to convince them to reinstall correctly.

I had not tried Angie's List before. I had always done it the hard way - asking around, google searching, getting recommendations from my friends. This turned out to be simple and easy. Requested estimates from three companies in my area. All responded within hours to a day. They all did measurements when expected. Got three good estimates, generally in the same range. Gutter King could fit my schedule. They came out on the right date, at the right time and did the work. Everything good. Recommend them highly. Turned out to be a good experience. Who knew.

This project was particularly difficult to get started. The original gutters were built into the rafters and were not conducive to the standard 4k or 5k gutters that most companies offer. Gutter King has a partnership with a fabricator that was able to build me custom gutters that are the standard width but swallow enough to fit into my rafter fittings. Gutter King's service was outstanding. Very responsive to questions and the installation team knew what they were doing. I had some bad experiences with other companies before I found Gutter King. I'm glad I found them and I highly recommend them.

The Gutter King team was quick, professional and did a great job installing our new gutters. We had a small issue with some standing water in two places we noticed after the installation but Gutter King came out quickly and adjusted the gutters to fix the issue. Overall our experience was excellent with the Gutter King team.

Great experience from start to finish. Responsive, professional, all in all excellent to work with. The project was a bit irregular, I interviewed several contractors and most of them did not want it. One gave me an estimate worth thousands to replace the entire deck. Chuck's crew fixed the issue in less than two hours, warned me of a potential flaw and gave a recommendation how to correct it. I am very happy with the job, would hire them again and recommend you do too.

All went excellent. Price was great and fit/finish was also great. Crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves too and I paid exactly what they quoted.

Quick response to request for an estimate and the final cost of the project was the exact amount of the estimate. The only hang-up was that after a several week delay of the project from the initial scheduled time (they did notify me of this and is totally understandable due to weather), the project was pushed back 2 more times without notice. I had to contact the company twice regarding the delays. The folks at the company were very kind and apologetic about not notifying me of the 2nd and 3rd delay, but it would have been nice to be kept more in the loop about delays. The guys who came out and did the job were very friendly and professional.

It went extremely well. Old gutters were removed, new ones installed with new downspouts. They gave me a better option for keeping leaves from clogging one drain, which works very well. They did thorough cleanup.

When the worker removed one of the gutters, he discovered that part of the fascia board was rotted. I discussed this with him and decided to replace a section of the fascia board. He wads able to get the replacement board and complete the job that morning.

Gutter King Inc., recently did a job at my house on the 17th & 18th of August that was completely unprofessional. The original date they committed to doing the work was the week of July 17th-21st, so it took them a month of pushing me out each week to get to my job. When they finally got to our house their employees not only left without completing the job, but they also left gutter debris, stakes, screws, and cigarette butts all over my property, including my driveway and decks! They also spilled epoxy on the walkway in front of our home. In addition, Gutter King did not fulfill our contract and neglected to install the fascia and flashing. I spoke with the receptionist on August 18th to inform them of the mess and the fact that no flashing or fascia were installed, as per our agreed upon work order. On Monday August 21st, I received a call from the receptionist. They left a voicemail letting me know that they were aware of the situation and would be trying to send a crew out the week of August 21st – 25th. They said that the reason my fascia wasn’t replaced was because their employees didn’t deem it necessary, as it was their opinion that the wood was just “weathered”. However, my wife was home, which the crew knew, and they didn’t even reach out to her or myself to see what we wanted. As far as the flashing goes – apparently there was a “mistake” and it didn’t make it onto the invoice for their crew. Even though, when I called them that Friday (8/18), they said that it was on the invoice in my file. The work wasn't completed until Thursday, September 14th - almost a full month after I let them know about the issues. When I requested a small discount for not only the amount of time I had to spend cleaning up the mess and screws covering my driveway, but also for the time delay, incomplete work, and overall lack of professionalism - they offered me less than a 5% discount. I found that to be insulting and requested at least a 10% discount, which was denied.
