I used them for siding removal about 5 years ago. I was pleased at the time. But, I tried many times to get someone out to bid on a vinyl floor removal project this year. Their office was always positive and said they could do it, but there field person would not return phone calls.

Popcorn ceiling did not come off properly, so they had to demo the entire ceiling. Did not charge extra for that work, which was much appreciated.

They were able to schedule us right away once the 10 day waiting notification period was over. The team brought cardboard to protect our hardwoods and actually left them cleaner than when they started work. Tony had warned us about some damage to the ceiling as part of the process, but the damage was minimal. They were in and out in less than 3 days and the house feels much lighter and taller. All in all, we're very happy.

AE did an excellent job, communication was good and their work was great. No mess afterwards and no popcorn remaining in the corners between the wall and ceiling which was an issue with another contractor we used for the upstairs. Their price was about 25% less than the other bid we got.

Estimating and scheduling the project was straightforward and low-pressure. The crew was on-time and easy to work with. They did the work well and left the work areas in very good condition. The job was finished on time and budget and it was exactly what the window installers needed to get their job done well afterward. We're completely satisfied.

Jolean provided competitive, accurate bid. Unlike others, offered additional protection for existing flooring using ram board. Supervisor of the crew performing work was personable, communicated well, and was knowledgable. Crew completed work on schedule, did great job cleaning-up the worksite. Damage to ceiling and walls was minimal.

Tony was very generous with his time and expertise. He walked us through our whole house and indetified all the places that might have asbestos, how likely it was that they had asbestos, how to get it cheaply tested, and it what ways it did or didn't pose a health risk. He also advised us on how to solve a small mold issue in our bathroom, and how to affordably improve our household air quality.

Affordable Environmental did a fabulous job at a much lower cost than competitors. Work was also done faster than expected.

Owner came out and provided the estimate.  He seemed the most trustworthy and also able to move his scheduling to our benefit.  Huge plus and I thank him for that.  Biggest problem came when his guys came out and started work.  They pulled all the toilets and didn't shut off the valve completely on one upstairs.  When I showed up, a fairly large puddle had formed in the bathroom.  When we went downstairs, we noticed that water had starting to leak through the ceiling on the first floor.  We addressed immediately by shutting off the water and putting a container under the valve to catch the dripping water.  Had a lot of back and forth with the owner who came out with his foreman.  From my perspective, we didn't have any water leaks before at the house for the five months we owned it and once your guy pulls the toilet there is.  That is highly suspect, but since our general contractor had already removed the ceiling drywall, he wasn't given a chance to address it.  He ended up not discounting for damages his guy caused.  That said, they seemingly did a good job removing all the flooring and quickly.  Again, appreciate his crew coming out on last minute notice.  All in all, I wouldn't work with this company again because of the hiccup and the foreman who wouldn't own up to his mistakes.
