I scheduled for service to be done the next day, and the tech arrived on time with no problems. I had requested repairs to the system and a general cleaning/diagnosis. The tech installed all necessary parts and checked the system, then told me that the whole thing needed to be replaced. I get that--it's an older system. Still, it was clear that he took the easiest way out. He never checked the condition of the filters, the inside coil (which was filthy) or any other components. He just assumed that it was the compressor. After doing some research online, I found out how to clean the coil myself and a tech from another company pointed out some things that were set wrong, causing the problems that he attributed to a bad compressor. When I received the bill, I found that I had been charged $150 for a thermostat that generally retails for $50 online. I understand markup, but that's excessive.

Lousy. They didn't quote prices even though I asked for them in writing.  They never communicated with me.  They ordered the wrong parts so the repairs took months but they never communicated status.   Because it took so long to get anything working the tenants were angry.
I had to call them all the time.  Once when I called I was talking to a different person who identified himself as an apprentice yet the hours I was charged were all charged out as the same high rate per hour.
Then they had the nerve to charge such a high price.  I will never use them again.

Mand M Heating and Air Conditioning was originally recommended by a friend who knew them. They were on time, knew their stuff, and had the parts. The service man had a good personality and the service was performed at a reasonable price. 2 other compnaies wanted to sell me a new furnace. Mand M said it was an older unit but very durable. They made repairs in an hour on both service calls, one in December and the last in January.

Excellent and professional customer service from the person I talked to on the phone (Matt) to report the problem to Randy, the technician that fixed our AC unit. Matt even talked me through a few diagnostics at my request to see if it was something simple I could fix first. They were booked up due to this being the first time our area got warm enough for people to turn on their units so an appointment was scheduled 2 days later at my convenience. The next afternoon they called to see if they could come early, but I was at work.
The next morning Randy called to see if it was okay if he came on over as he was 20 minutes early. I agreed and he was there in 5 minutes. He was very polite and professional and quickly identified and replaced our faulty fan motor. He was here less than an hour total. Overall this was a great experience! I have never had a repair person show up early. Mand M Heating and Air treat their customers with respect and do their best to leave their customers satisfied.
I am a renter and the bill was sent to my landlord so I can not comment on price. However price is not always the most important aspect. If you want quality, professional service these guys are the way to go!
