We had never met Jim McCullogh, or heard of Agri/Com Appraisals until our lender sent him to do our appraisal for a construction loan. Jim came to our property, took pictures and left his card. He then called my husband for clarification on certain features that only someone who understood farming would consider on an appraisal. After a few weeks we hadn't heard from our lender so I e-mailed Jim and, although he wouldn't tell me what the place appraised for, he told me that we would be very happy with the numbers he came up with...and we were. We got our loan and our house in being constructed right now. I appreciate that Jim understood agricultural land values and gave us a very fair appraisal.
