Description of Work: Switch Electric came out, assessed the project, and recommended that we not exchange our bathroom fan, as the duct work isn't big enough to warrant a larger fan. The company was very pleasant to deal with and we'll definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The coupon was a bit confusing and miss leading. It is not the right kind of service for our home. Although they said they would give me a quote for needed service I have not hear from them. It has been about over 2 month. I would like to have refund to my original payment form. Thanks.

Description of Work: The $447 deal was for four new 6" recessed lights and a dimmer. I already have three on a dimmer in that room. Was hoping we could add a couple new ones and change the trim on the existing to match. Switch recommended several modifications that was outside the scope of the deal so they wrote a quote for the work... $650. It wasn't bait-and-switch because I opened with exploring ways to work with them to augment what I already have, but $650 doesn't feel like a deal. I'll delay and get some other quotes.

Description of Work: Good communication with setting up appointment. They came on time. It would have been a good idea though if the dimensions of the fan used in the deal were published. It would have saved all of us time.

Description of Work: I used a big deal purchase Switch Electric. It was $249 for ultra quiet bath fan. I think we had to pay an additional $25 for some tax or something in addition to the big deal price. They removed a fan and light and installed a new one.

Description of Work: I had purchased a big deal for $209.99 for an Ultra Quiet Bath Fan. I was unable to use this big deal due to extra costs and work involved with the fan installation. The company was very professional and I have used them in the past. They do great work. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: We bought the Big Deal for 4 cans of recessed lighting for our condo. Since there are already some cans installed there, we assumed it would be relatively easy. We made an appointment for Switch Electric to come out, took a couple of weeks to get in. According to the service people, turns out there were too many complications to make the installation feasible -- joists in wrong position, etc. They advised us to just get a refund. They showed up promptly and were courteous.

Description of Work: They were extremely pleasant on the phone when scheduling the appointment and also when the electrician came to my home. Unfortunately they were unable to perform the work because my building is a mid rise with electrical alarm systems and their license will not allow them to work in these kinds of buildings as they fall under "commercial", even though it is a residence.

Description of Work: I called the company, Switch Electric, even before purchasing the coupon to make sure that they could do the work (they are located in Marysville/Everett and I live in downtown Seattle) and I stated that specifically. I was assured that they could do the work, no problem. I scheduled the appointment, THEN purchased the Big Deal coupon. I reconfirmed the appointment last week as I had a busy day on the day they were scheduled to arrive and I wanted to make sure they would be here at 9. Again, no problem. This morning, the day they are to do the work, I get a call from the electrician saying they aren't legally allowed to do the work because we live in a condo over 3 floors. Very frustrating. I will say that Tyler, the guy in the office, called and apologized, but given everything...I'm disappointed.

Description of Work: The electrician didn't complete the work satisfactorily. We were told by the company to get a Big Deal refund and the electrician would come back to our home and do the work for free. We were satisfied with this response from the company.

Description of Work: Provider replied to inquiry indicating I am outside service area. Note - this offer was directly emailed to me, and my address is up-do-date in your system.

Description of Work: The guys came out to address 1 electrical problem and were able to fix my can light, even tho it was a little tricky they can up with a great solution which saved me another trip...AND then helped with a quick check and tightening of 2 outlet boxes. Nice guys and very professional.

Description of Work: We bought the big deal which included one electrical "fix". Our house was knob and tube and had an outlet that needed repair. They came out as expected, on time, with professialism, and told us the whole house needed rewiring. We knew that already, just wanted the one circuit fixed. Since the whole house needed rewiring, they couldn't do the one fix so we really didn't get anything for our $125.00. They gave us an estimate to rewire the entire house, but we went with another company.

Description of Work: We purchased a coupon last year and used it a few weeks ago. The coupon expired but I called this company, they said I could still use it! The coupon was for up to two hours for electrical work and they fixed it 20mins. I felt they could of fixed other things up the coupon said " one household item up to two hrs", so buyer beware.

Description of Work: Provider explained that I was too far and out of his service are and said that the description for the Big Deal does not allow to put service area restrictions. They did recommend a closer provider.

Description of Work: Switch Electric responded promptly. 2 electricians came to the house and reviewed and job. they told me they couldn't install the 4 recessed cans without extensive damage to the ceiling and they couldn't put the lighting where I needed it. So, no work was done.

Description of Work: Installed two recessed can lights in our living room. Nice work: only complaint is that they underestimated the cost of wall/ceiling repair.

Description of Work: Per initial contact with company by phone, I asked if an additional installation of a chandelier could be included in the order. Was told it could. On arrival of workman was told it could be done but only as a separate work order. Installlation of lighting fixture in bathroom was completed, but additional fee of $100+ was charged for chandelier. Company must get its act together so that the sales person acts om accordance workman's system and no $100 discrepancies occur.
