Description of Work: Replaced the fuse box

Description of Work: I used Switch to replace a bathroom fan (as part of a coupon deal.) They were prompt and professional. When they tested the fan, they determined that the fan itself was faulty and made arrangements to come back the next day with a new one. They did the installation quickly and also replaced my hall light fixture for a small upcharge. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Due to travel and other unforseen time issues on our end, we were not able to arrange an initial appointment with the service provider in the initial thirty days to determine the entire scope of the project.

Description of Work: Switch Electric helped us with a wiring problem. They were wonderful! They are on our callback list the next time we have a problem.

Description of Work: Tyler arrived a few minutes early even! He replaced an outdoor receptable that was no longer working with a new updated receptacle. He replaced bulbs in a vanity light fixture and removed a broken bulb base that I couldn't get out. He also checked out a malfunctioning smoke detector that proved to not require repair--just a new battery. Unfortunately I didn't have the right kind at home. I'll have to find a tall person to install the battery as it is over some stairs. Tyler did make sure they provided me with an estimate for hooking the system together wirelessly, but that was kind of pricey. I was very pleased that the electrical system was fine and just needed a minor repair. Wish I'd had the battery.

Description of Work: Very happy with this company; from the estimate by Tyler to the installation of under cabinet kitchen LED lights and new baseboard heater by Jeremy and Riley, I couldn't be more pleased! They also fixed a 'bum' electrical outlet, lined up some misaligned outlets so my new tile will look uniform, and repaired a very old light fixture in the kitchen that hasn't worked in years....what a relief! Their estimated cost was almost exactly what another electrician quoted for the work, but the 20% coupon on Angie's List made Switch Electric the natural choice. I will call them again the next time I need electrical work done. Thanks, guys!

Description of Work: IT all went well.the company installed a cutoff switch to my gas line in case of an earthquake.

Description of Work: I had a tv mounted above my fire place, a switch fixed and one put in and removal of extension cord in the garage and replaced with electrical wire. The installer was very nice. It took a long time to get the tv hung and then the wire was not long enough to reach the cable box. The installer was trying to save me money but then I had to go out and buy additional materials. The installer had to go back to the shop twice for materials. It wasn't far away but the deal I had was for a certain amount of time. It would have been nice to have the office know what I wanted done prior to arriving so maybe he could have had the correct materials. The work was done, I really liked the installer, I just didn't feel I got the best deal for the amount I spent.

Punctual, good communication, friendly. |Installed 6 new recessed LED can lights, including running new wiring; replaced the front porch light fixture with a new one; added an exterior power outlet to an existing hookup; assessed problems with electric heaters and provided recommendations for fixes. |Very minor quality issues - a few small holes left in the ceiling after drilling to assess placement of can lights; the face plate for the power switch didn't completely cover the hole cut in the dry wall in one spot.

Description of Work: I received an estimate to relocate and install a new breaker box and bring the existing service coming to the house up to code. I do plan to use this company to perform the work one my husband completes another task. |The guys that came out were polite and clean and were clear about the work that needed to be done. The estimate was received 3 days earlier than promised.

Description of Work: Installed two ceiling fans, fixed one pendent light and ceiling fan, checked bathroom fan. He had to leave for about an hour to pick up parts for ceiling fan installation. He left things clean after finishing and seemed to be very pleasant.
