Description of Work: Tyler the manager came out for an assessment. He was incredibly professional. I would give him an A+++ to infinity. Brian was my electrician. Ashley the receptionist was also excellent and very professional! They had to make adjustments because I had knob and tube. He did all of the wiring for the new appliances. They chandelier that I had purchased didn't come with it and he ran out on his lunch and purchased them for me at no charge and they are beautiful. We had a miscommunication on my part and he was a saint about it. On a different day, I actually had a slug in an outlet and it had caused the beginning of an electrical fire and Brian came out and fixed the electrical situation. I plan to have him out soon for additional work. He will be my electrician for life.

Description of Work: They were great from beginning to end. Their online scheduling service was easy to use and Tyler (the estimator) arrived on time and provided a bid the very same evening. They were busy over the summer, so they couldn't do the work for a few weeks, but their guys arrived on time and the new panel and other new wiring project passed inspection with flying colors. Also, their prices are competitive. We're using them again for another project.

Description of Work: My wife and I used Switch Electric for a large job that entailed a whole house re-wire of our 1947 West Seattle home. In addition to the re-wire we added/updated lighting and electical recepticals throughout the house, added outdoor recepticals, added two bath fans, and added smoke detectors in each room. Tyler, the owner of the company, provided our initial bid. He was on time, professional, and very great to deal with. I requested a more detailed bid so I could know what I was paying for each item. This helped us decide whether to leave out an optional, or not really necessary item. The work at our house was done by a journeyman electrician (Jesse) and an apprentice (Jake). The job took approximately 10 days to complete. Jesse and Jake, as promised, spent extra time fishing wire, so as to minimize holes that had to be drilled in various walls and ceiling areas. Each day of the project we were advised what rooms they would be working in and what to expect by the end of the day. They were very accurate in their assessments and went the extra mile to get things done as we wanted. | |I will say that I had bids from other "A" rated Angie's list providers that were a little cheaper than Switch Electic. That said, I am very happy I selected them and I would absolutely use them in the future.

Description of Work: Installed wiring and switching for an external home backup generator, and replaced public power feed lines. | |The work was performed on time and budget. There was a delay installing the "Utility Power Restored" alarm due to back ordered part. | |Final city inspection was delayed due to a scheduling error. | |But all work and inspection was completed over a three week period.

Description of Work: Scope of project changed. Complete electric panel replacement recommended instead of just replacement of breakers. Need to get multiple estimates for panel replacement so requesting refund on this breaker replacement special. Switch Electric personnel are really nice and I appreciate their recommendation for panel replacement.

Description of Work: Lots of items. Loved the "set price covers anything unexpected" approach. Work crew was great and very helpful in trying to really get the end results we were after. They went the extra mile on several occasions. Probably the best contractor I have worked with in the last 10 years.
