Replace a light fixture

Based on our good experience with Switch, we asked them to replace our old electrical panel with a new 200 amp panel. The work was done in less than a day. The price included the cost of and scheduling final inspection. We are very pleased with their work.

The electrician sent by Switch Electric was knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. I will definitely call Switch Electric in the future for any electrical problems. I couldn't ask for better service.

Justin was very professional, friendly and helpful. He came out to replace a GFI plug under an Angie's List coupon. Turned out the problem was embarrassingly simple and took about 45 seconds to fix. (A GFI plug can only be reset if there is power running to it at the time of reset.) He kindly did not even charge me the full coupon price. He also helpfully weighed in on some other minor issues in the home. I would definitely call again.

We lost power in two bedrooms and a hallway in our home. We spent three days troubleshooting the problem ourselves but finally consulted Angie's List for an electrician. We called Switch Electric on Monday. An electrician arrived Tuesday morning and after troubleshooting the power loss he found a defective outlet switch which he replaced. The whole process only took about an hour. The electrician was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. We used a "Buy It Now" Coupon which was offered by Switch Electric on Angie's List so the cost was very affordable. We would call them again. In fact, we have asked Switch for a bid on additional work.

They came on time, sent two electricians and were done and cleaned up in an hour. Very knowledgeable, very professional, very personable. Our house is a 1941 Bungalow and I discussed possible wiring upgrades with them. They provided me with an on-the-spot written estimate for the work that we discussed. I will use them again if the need ever arises.

They were 3 of them for the job. I felt it a little ridiculous for 3 people to re-wire a lamp. The same 3 people lay hard line on the cable and communicated well, to have the job done. They ensured to pull the cable properly, resulting in a neat job. They had quoted me a wonderful price, which made me choose their services. I will use their services in future.

Jeremy and Tyler arrived on time the day of the job. After walking through the job with them to be sure they understood what we wanted and to get the new lights and other parts that we had for the job. First they did the interior work. This was done quickly and cleanly. They work very neatly and carefully. Then came the exterior work. They dug the trench by hand -- and it was not easy. We live in a very rocky place and they dug the trench very quickly. Again, the installation of the new lights and outlets was done quickly and cleanly. When they left, everything was as neat and tidy and cleaned up as possible. I would definitely recommend their work.

The deck lights and the outlets were not working, and apparently, my wife’s hairdryer in the bathroom had blown it. They came in within a day or two, probably as early as I could accommodate them, and they got it working again. Their work was fine. There was a coupon from Angie’s List for one electrical issue for some amount, and I took advantage of that. It was actually a very simple solution, and I should have been able to figure it out myself. All that was needed was for the red button on the outlet to be pushed; I had reset the circuit panel but had not pushed the red button. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We got them though one of the Angie's List deals. They did a very good job. They went above and beyond what the coupon was worth and they did some work for free. They gave us suggestions of what we could improve and so in general we had a good experience.

He did several diagnostic tests to determine the problem. Had to bypass a bad curcuit and replaced three outlets. All are working now.

They were very pleasant. They were very responsible. They tried very hard the whole time to do a good job. They quickly came to do the job. They asked great questions. They were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves.

I have had many contractors over the past year on my old house, and Switch is one of the few that I can recommend with no reservations whatsoever. This is an honest company and an extremely competent one. I'd recommend them for any job, simple or complicated.

Overall, from start to finish, it was a most satisfying experience and I didn't have to try and fix it on my own!

My experience with them went excellent. They were very helpful and suggested ideas. We did some additional work while they were here and they were willing to do that. It was just a good company. Their price was fair.

I've been looking to replace my electric panel ever since I brought the house. After years of putting it off, with a new baby on the way, I figure I seriously needed to get a potential fire hazard out of my house (the old panel was a Zecco). After getting quotes from 5 different companies, I finally settle on Switch Electric. Mostly because Jeremy (the electrician that came out) was friendly , courteous, knowledgeable and he said would have been able to put in the new bigger panel without moving it to a different location. I wanted the panel replace ASAP, and they were able to fit me in their schedule in a couple of days. On the day of the panel upgrade, Jeremy and his helper came out on time. They started work right away. Shutting off power and cutting a hole for the new box. Then we ran into a Major issue. Unfortunately the way the house was built, the electric mast was poured into the concrete foundation, meant they had to move the electric box to a different location. It was a bit of a bummer since I prefer to not have the box moved, but I can not blame the guys at Switch.. Unless they had X-Ray vision, they really couldn't have foresee what was behind the walls. Jeremy explained exactly what my options were and what had to be done. They proceeded to move cut a new hole in the wall for the new box. About 6 hrs later power was back up.. Another hr or so for them to clean up (my floors never looked cleaner), and all that was left was for their work to be inspected. I've the panel for a while now, and hadn't had a single issues. The inspector that came by said (and I quote) "This is some of the cleanest work I've seen" (in reference to the panel and the wiring). Overall, I'm extremely happy with Switch Electric, I would definitely use them again if I any future electrical issues..

Was a great experience and hassle free. Was using my hot tub in no time, thanks guys and would definitely use this company again in the future.

I consulted Tyler Keezer last year about ways to update my home lighting. He listened to my ideas and designed a lighting plan that really enhanced the look of my home. He and Jeremy installed canned lights in my living room, hallway and kitchen. The lights have really made a difference and I've had a lot of compliments since. The day of the installation they arrived on time, were well organized and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. I was very impressed at how quickly the work was completed and even more so with how well they cleaned up the construction debris. I'm excited to have them back this summer to work on my outdoor lighting. I highly recommend them and trust that whatever electrical work they do will be excellent.

Tyler and Jeremy showed up exactly when they said they would. They were very polite and very easy to talk to. They began working right away! It felt like no time had passed by the time they were done with lighting throughout my entire house. Excited as any homeowner would be, I wanted to try everything out right away. They explained different options about the lighting and why they placed certain lights in specific spots. Now it was time for my favorite part. The home theater system. Not only did they do this with great caution and precision, they seemed just as excited as me about this installation. When it all came together, I had my dream theater. Everything has been amazing, and I feel so much better about my house! This company has an outstanding commitment for customer satisfaction. I would recommed them (and have) to anyone!

I recently had a breaker tripping in my electrical box and called Switch Electric to come out and see what the problem was. They were very prompt and friendly when they arrived and found the issue in one of my outlets right away. They also informed that my panel was out dated and possibly was not giving me the protection my home needed from electrical hazards. I appreciated their concern for my safety and had them update my electrical box to a brand new one. I just wanted to say these guys really go the extra mile and I would recommend them to anyone! Definitely will be calling them if I need anything else in the future!
